    The technicians are lazy and liars. They dont keep their scheduled appointments. Its going on four weeks since I placed a service contract and its the 20th of the month and not received the part for my ac.

    Unfortunately we give supplier model and serial number for parts and it is out of our control if supplier provides incorrect part. For the inconvenience we rescheduled for the following day and made it a priority appointment. When units are older condenser fan motors are very hard to locate in stock and it may take weeks until part is sent to local supplier.

    **, was caught lying when I put them on with the gas company regarding my furnace stating cracked heat exchanger and gas leaks, and no leaks are present and AHS has a **** quote. Due to this, a second company will be out to disprove this false report, the report didnt even have evidence of anything on it

    OUR COMPANY WAS OUT TO SERVICE THIS HOMEOWNER THROUGH AMERICAN SHIELD WARRANTY COMPANY. ON ARRIVAL ************** FOUND FURNACE WITH FLAMES ROLLING OVER AND CRACKED HEAT EXCHANGERS. TECHNICIAN ALSO FOUND FURNACE WITHOUT DOOR COVER AND ROLLOUT SWITCH WAS MOVED. ROLLOUT SWITCH IS SUPPOSED TO LOCATED WITHIN THE FURNACE BURNER COMPARTMENT WHERE IT IS DESIGNED AS A SAFETY DEFENSE TO SHUT OFF IF FLAMES START TO ROLL OUT. ROLLOUT SWITCH WAS LOCATED OUTSIDE BURNER COMPARTMENT WHICH CAUSED THE **** TO STAY ON WITH FLAMES ROLLING OVER. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD AND FURNACE IS LEAKING GAS. ONCE A TECHNICIAN IDENTIFIES **** TAMPERING WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE FURNACE THROUGH AHS POLICY. ************** DID NOT TOUCH OR SERVICE HOMEOWNERS FURNACE. WE PROVIDED AHS PICTURES OF FURNACE AND THEY DENIED THE HOMEOWNER A NEW FURNACE DUE TO IT BEING RIGGED. WE DO NOT CONTROL AUTHORIZATION FOR AHS. HOMEOWNER HAS THE RIGHT TO SECOND OPINION IF THEY DO NOT AGREE WITH OUR DIAGNOSIS. TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDED TO HAVE GAS COMPANY SHUT OFF **** AND NOT TO CONTINUE RUNNING FURNACE. WE CAN PROVIDE PHOTO EVIDENCE TO PROVE FURNACE TAMPERING.

    The person was here less than 10 minutes regarding a replacement, unit. It is not leaking any gas if it was the gas detector and carbon monoxide detector would have went off. ***** did come and claimed that JC was lying. That the flames were blue not yellow. Previously unit was tuned up and serviced by another AHS company and noted no issues or rigging. The tech never mentioned gas leaking until they were put on with ***** when they left, otherwise I would assume the Tech would have not even attempted to look at the unit. They mentioned since I have the highest plan its better to replace since it would be **** out of pocket. Kinda funny all of these issues didnt show during, inspection, when ***** turned on gas service with the unit running in September, and with another HVAC company doing a yearly tune up on the system without a ounce of these issues mentioned.

    I have gathered some more information to prove homeowner's furnace was rigged to bypass safety features which led to our diagnosis. I have attached photos from furnace manufacturers manual that show burner compartment door was removed and roll out switch was moved and screwed to the side of burner compartment so flames would not hit roll out switch and turn off furnace. That is not the intended manufacturers design. Our office also contacted ********* to see if they had an inspection done to verify if there is a present gas/co2 leak, ***** confirmed there has not been any ********* technician to the home since 2017. We reported potential leak and a ***** technician will be inspecting the home today, we do not want to be held liable for any safety hazard ************** warned the homeowner about. This customer posted false information on our ******************** reviews. ************** only reported a safety hazard and found a tampered furnace which led to homeowner being denied for coverage through American Home Shield warranty. I understand the homeowner is upset with being denied but I do not believe it is a fair representation of our company when all we did was diagnose the furnace and recommend a replacement. Payments for service were paid through American Home Shield.

    Again, with the lies. You have multiple complaints, but you got the right person. The home was purchased 5 months ago everything was inspected by *****, the home inspector all came back fine. *********** was turned on in September of 22 and February of 23 since you reported a gas leak that was UNFOUNDED. Next attempt I will consider this harassment, and a cease and desist letter from my lawyer will be sent,

    I should have read the reviews on this company before letting American Home Shield assign them to my claim. THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I was having problems with my furnace shutting off and staying completely off for days at a time. It took 4 technicians to come out and NONE of them could figure out what it was. They all said something different. ** came out twice, he was only here for 10 to 15 minutes each time. First he said there was dust and he had to blow it out. The second time he said the flame sensor had dust (again)! The third time a tech came out and said he was "the owner of the company". He said he needed to replace two parts (which he did) and obviously were probably NOT NEEDED since I continued to have the same problem the very same day he came out. Then, ***** came for the 5th time and TOTALLY LIED about the diagnostic he gave. HE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL taking about his personal life and reported back to the company an issue that I was not even having!!! I called the office and tried to speak to a manager and the lady on the phone told me she was the manager. She would not let me speak to "the owner" who had gone to my house a few days prior. SHE WAS ALSO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!!! She told me she would suggest calling another company to get a second opinion if I didn't agree with their diagnostic. I ended up CANCELLING MY CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD and had a friend who knows what he's doing fixed my furnace and did not charge me anything. Rush Heating wanted to charge me $500 dollars to move my thermostat because according to the tech, it was too close to the furnace and that is what was causing the problem. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!

    OUR COMPANY WAS ASSIGNED TO THIS HOMEOWNER THROUGH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD WARRANTY COMPANY. OUR FIRST APPOINTMENT TECHNICIAN FOUND A PLUGGED FILTER AND DIRTY FLAME SENSOR, CHANGED FILTER AND RESURFACED FLAME SENSOR FURNACE CYCLED AND WAS RUNNING PROPERLY. HOMEOWNER CALLED A RECALL WITH SAME ISSUE. A TECHNICIAN WENT OUT AGAIN AND FOUND UNIT WITH A SIEZED LIMIT SWITCH. TECHNICIAN CAME BACK WITH PART AND REPLACED LIMIT SWITCH. HOMEOWNER CREATED MULTIPLE RECALLS FOR A TECHNICIAN TO GO BACK OUT TO HOME. OUR TECHNICIANS WENT OUT AN ADDITIONAL TWO TIMES AND EACH TIME THE FURNACE WAS IN WORKING CONDITION ON ARRIVAL. HOMEOWNER COMPLAINED OF UNIT SHUTTING OFF AND NOT REACHING TARGET TEMP. WHEN TECHNICIANS WOULD ARRIVE FURNACE WOULD BE RUNNING AND REACHING SET TEMP. HOMEOWNER STILL STATED SHE HAD ISSUE WITH ******* NOT TURNING ON WE ASKED HER TO TEXT US A PICTURE OF WHAT HER THERMOSTAT WAS READING. SHE HAD HER THERMOSTAT SET AT 74 AND IT WAS READING 72 DEGREES AND WAS STILL PROVIDING HEAT. THE ONLY ISSUE WE FOUND IS THAT THERMOSTAT WAS LOCATED NEXT TO FURNACE WHICH COULD CAUSE THERMOSTAT TO READ A DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE THAN THE REST OF THE HOME DUE TO IT BEING CLOSE TO FURNACE IT GETS WARM. AFTER THE HOMEOWNER BEGAN USING OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE AND BEGAN DISRESPECTING OUR STAFF WE SUGGESTED TO GET A SECOND OPINION FROM AHS. WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR VIOLENT LANGUAGE.
