Alliance Disaster Kleenup removed all furniture and personal possessions other than clothing and electronics from my home in October of 2023 due to a garage fire so that repair work could be done. When the items were returned September 5th, 2024, my wifes dresser had been damaged on the right top corner. As their overall picture of my bedroom furniture shows prior to removal, there was no damage on that dresser. I brought this damage to their attention and was told that it was already there which is not true. I am not the type of person to lie about something like this. They continue to deny that they caused the damage and are essentially calling me a liar. I think their not taking responsibility for the damage is very unprofessional and would like the public to know how they do business. This company was paid nearly $40,000 to remove, clean and store my furniture and they would rather call me a liar than make it right!Business Response

Flooding clean up and restoration was supposed to be done. They started kn April 22 and job is still not done, project manager has promised multiple dates of completion but still not finished. Management has little communication with client, client will have to initiate communication, miscommunication on management part, they came in to the project site without management knowing and unscheduled cops were called. Miscalculated measurements delaying work, once one project was done in the site it was half done and unfinished, management had to come back and do it himself.Business Response

Our restorative reconstruction contract was signed July 27, 2021 from a fire including replacing walls siding around the house, 2 windows, determine severity of damage of fireplace/ replace as needed since their estimator didnt do extensive inspection after the fireAlliance promise will do permit and everything needed to execute and complete the job, HOA info provided.Contractor(*****) is dishonest, has poor workmanship, failed to supervised workers and neglected his work. Our lives was disrupted and have health/safetyhazards.There was a poor communication from the start leading to a lot of delay/ neglect and chaos. Work didnt start until Nov 19 even windows were delivered Oct 12 which expected. Workers didnt showed up on starter date, worked 8-2:30 pm even arrived 7am.***** omitted to get permit/no sidling approval claiming didnt need it. Nov *************************************************** the house knowing he might have penalty. Workers worried to get ticket, presented concerned fireplace /window gaps before putting siding/windows but got ignored. I insisted on safety hazards to have fireplace inspected ended replacement of the whole unit. Approved siding initially available per ***** 2-3 days only instead of weeks and claimed he needed permit to order, but didnt have on initial order, also said not aware of HOA.He neglected us again for not informing that work wont be done until after winter leaving us no effective water proofing/weather protection that lead to windows/patio door.leaking for several times and got mold, he sprayed with bleach only on visible area. He completed siding but a lot of cracked/spaces/damage to wood was mentioned few times and final walked through claimed will do it but just gave us additional **** of $22,540 for replacing new siding thats not even half done and charge more than half.We told him were not responsible and wants to talk to his boss, he said will set it/emailed president-no response-house left undoneBusiness Response

Please be advised that all work and issues relating to complaint ******** have been resolved to the customers satisfaction. The customer has communicated their satisfaction with the resolution and final work product. It is the position of ADK that this issue should be closed as the delays relating to the work being completed had only to do with the sourcing of the matching materials. I am rejecting this response because:His response is a big lie! First of all, we were never satisfied with Alliance Job from day 1! He ignored my email from June 6,2022, and ignored BBB too. They did not returned to our house to complete the job he signed. So, there was/is no satisfaction because the resolution that I asked from my complain was not even addressed by anybody! I dont want to be charge for additional $22,540 on top of $32,825.43 half paid because his contractor was negligent and failed to get the permit and necessary requirement of the village prior to construction and we were/are the one suffering from his bad practice and irresponsibility! No family should experience what we went through from spring, whole summer, on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year without carpet, insulation, dry walls or sidings during dead of winter especially on holidays, instead of Christmas wreath, lights or decorations hanging on the walls! No kids should be restricted sitting on floor because theres no carpet or some kind of protection on the floor to enjoy the fireplace on Christmas Eve or to open their Christmas presents.Our whole family with small kids didnt have a normal life. Instead a disrupted lives with lot of chaos for over half a year because somebody failed to do his job! How could a few day job turned to months and year of unfinished job? If you know what you are doing, with proper planning, our fate should have been different. This is unacceptable! This is your business and people hired you to help them and we rely on you! this is after a devastating fire. We have enough! We thought this company will help us fix our house but instead, this company made it even worst. They need to make this reconstruction right! Replace the cracked sidings and spaces, fix/remove sticking nails, fix the dented *********** and realign the gutter, secure the windows and the patio door and walls that leaked, discolored and got moldy.

I am rejecting this response because Alliance have not reach out to resolve this unfinished reconstruction which is more than a year. They need to make our house secure asap fix the leaking window, replace crack and spaced sidings, gutters, discolored patio door from water damage, moldy walls, fix the dented fascia. They need to readjust the bill and remove the additional charges for the siding due to contractors negligence of getting permit and follow the village rules and regulations.I added a video on another email.
