This company does not have enough phone support. I have a billing issue and I called the appropriate number on the website. I was on hold for 20 minutes. They then said they couldn't help me. I called the number they provided *************) and waited for over an hour with no answer. I also submitted a request online to no avail. Please do not do business with this company. Urgent care but not urgent response when you have an issue.

I visited Midwest Express Clinic for an health issue on November 3rd. Before any procedures, I inquired about potential costs. They checked my ID and insurance details and gave me documents to fill out. I insisted on not proceeding without clarity on costs, and they confirmed that there would be no charges. After verifying this again, I completed the paperwork and indicated my readiness for examination. They then presented another document for my credit card, explaining that it was a standard procedure for any additional treatments, potentially charging up to $150. Despite assurances of no initial charges, I filled out the form and proceeded with my visit.A few weeks later, I received an insurance letter requesting a charge of $162. To clarify this, I went to the clinic and spoke with a lady at the front desk. After checking her system, she stated that the fee was related to my visit. I reminded her about my initial visit and that a staff member had told me I would not be charged for the visit, but only for any additional treatment that might be required. The lady then told me that the person who had handled my case had given me incorrect information and he has no longer worked there. She declared that since I had signed a paper agreeing to pay any charges, I was obligated to pay the fee. Then I asked to speak with someone in authority and file a complaint. In response, she, with a mocking attitude, stated that she was the manager and had listened to my complaint but I still had to pay the fee. I then left the clinic and sought to resolve my grievance through different communication channels. Subsequently, I attempted to contact Midwest Express Clinic's customer service, billing, and patient advocacy units but I couldn't get any solution. During this time, I discovered $150 charge on my credit card, without prior notification. This experience has left me feeling misled and wronged. I find this situation unfair and request a resolution to this grievance.

I visited Midwest Clinic on 10/30/24 and was not charged anything at time of visit. On December ******* I noticed an unauthorized charge of $94.00. I called billing department to inquire and was told email was sent to me regarding the draft and date to be charged which I never received. I advised no physical documents were mailed to be advising exact date and amount and what the charges were to cover or consent of an autodraft. I spoke to ******* *. Escalation Supervisor on 12/18/24 was unable to provide me any documents I was requesting to consent of this but stated a refund would be started but could not give me any information i can use to refer to this refund matter. This cause unfortunate finance issues on my end.

When they called me into the room I told them my symptoms headache cough chest pain they did swap test it came out negative I told them I had history of asthma and had a blood cloth in my right leg. She checked my ears and said I had an ear affection and said I had inflammation in my lungs gave me antibiotics and told me to take a table spoon of honey for my cough. The next morning my cough got worse tried calling this facility 4x to get hold of doctor to get me steroids and told them I them I was having hard time breathing. Everytime I called they said the doctor was to busy they would call end of business day. I ended up calling right when they closed there was no remorse from the lady on the phone no apology I have been waiting all day for them to call me. I put my trust and health in their hands and they let me down.I ended up in the emergency room where they told me I didnt have an ear affection my ears were fine .. and that my lungs were collapsed I would like my money back of what I paid at Midwest as I was given false information.

I was charged $150 on my ***** credit card on 11/8 for a visit on Oct 19. Before the charge I did not receive an email about my billing statement. I called the billing department and they could not find my account at all using my legal name, my phone number, my birthday nor my social security number, so they could not even check why I was being billed. I request a full refund to my credit card.

Visited clinic on 9/19/2024 for a Vitamin B injection, total cost $25. I was given a charge card receipt, but not provided a statement of service. I requested a statement of service to submit to my *** account. I was told due to new billing system this was not possible and I would need to contact billing at ************. "Old" billing switched me to "New" billing. Although the visit showed, I was told that could not provide a statement of service because it has not been uploaded, that I should call back in 2 weeks. When I asked on site, I was guaranteed that billing could provide documentation. I offered to cancel service but was told it would not be a problem. I am now in danger of having *** funds frozen until proper documentation is provided and the only resolution Midwest is offering is for me to continue to call, yet I have not been provided a number for "new" billing. I would like my money refunded to reimburse my *** or the statement off service.

Visited Carol Stream, IL location for illness on 07/08/2024. On 08/16/2024, I received a bill for $255.30. Phoned billing and was told that my ******** did cover this charge because it was a wellness visit. This was not a wellness visit it was for illness. Phoned ******** and was told billing ***** put in wrong billing code and to call Midwest billing back. I was told, by Midwest, not to pay bill that I would receive a call back. On 09/11/2024 received a charge on my credit card for $150.00 without my authorization. I phoned billing and was told they resubmitted to ******** and it was still denied. Phoned ******** and Midwest billing is still using the wrong billing code; using Wellness visit code and not office visit code which I am covered for through ********. Phoned Midwest again and was told to call ******** and have them get in touch with the billing department. Called ******** and they do not phone companies regarding billing. Called Midwest back and explained this to them. I did try and call the Midwest Clinic patient advocate number and there is not a representative to answer your call. You leave a message and they do not return your call. Phoned the Midwest ***************** facility where I was seen by the doctor and the visit is coded properly with an office visit. Billing department has entered the wrong code and will not change it so that my insurance will pay for the bill. Original bill for office visit was $255.30. Billing representative told me they reduced the bill to $173.29 because I don't have coverage which I do have coverage. They need to contact ***** Stream facility to confirm that it was an office visit, not wellness visit to change the billing code and resubmit bill to ******** which they are refusing to do. Again, I also do not like that they charged my credit card without my knowledge for the $150.00 and also I paid the $23.29 or they were sending it to a collection agency. They need to resubmit ******** and refund $173.29.
