      Car Country was recommend to me by a friend when I was looking for a used car. On November 9, 2024, we found a 2014 ****** ****** we liked and purchased it. We negotiated the car down by $500 of the asking price (i.e., @10,500 to 10.000). We put $6,000 down and financed the rest. I signed the paperwork assuming that since they were recommended by a friend, there would be no hidden costs, however, once I returned home, I found a fee of $299 for a Vin Etching which I never requested since I have full coverage on the car. I tried to contact the salesman (Jacob H****) and the Finance Manager (Lane T*****), but neither would return my call. I also called the main office to file a complaint, and they never called back either. They also promised to provide me with a second key fob for the car.
      I would like them to reimburse me for the Vin Etching cost and the cost of an additional key fob for the car.

      Car country in Aurora Indiana sold me and my fiance' a 2015 Chevrolet ***** Lt we've only had the car for a year and have had nothing but problems with it now the car won't go no more than 20 mph and are stuck with a car and a payment and a car that isn't driveable car country should be shut down permanently

      It can be frustrating when used cars don't hold up the way we would like. We put all of our cars through our service center and offer transparent buying and *** ***. We also offer a service center to help keep on top of maintenance. Please reach out directly if you need help.

      Bought a 2019 Chevy Silverado at Car Country in Indiana ( part of Tom Tepe Auto Center in Milan) and within a week of having the truck realized the 4 wheel drive did not work. ( we did not test the 4 wheel drive prior to purchasing it, as there was no place to test it. The manual says it should not be used on dry pavement. There were no gravel or dirt areas to test it). Took the truck back within the week and they said they would look at it and found the transfer case needed to be replaced and wanted to charge us $2,800.00, after paying $36,000.00 for this truck. We advised they sold us a defective truck, they should have known it was not working before they sold it to us. How can a dealer sell a truck and within a week have a major problem with it. And then want to charge an arm and a leg to fix it. They kept the truck for over a month trying to fix it and have only come down on the price of the 4 wheel drive fix to $1,400.00 saying they would split the cost with us. I don't believe this is fair. This is bad business as most dealerships will fix anything for free within the first 30 days. Definitely DO NOT recommend this dealership if you are looking for a reliable vehicle. Very unhappy with the whole process. I would think at any dealership they would inspect all vehicles that have on their lot to sell, and make sure they are running correctly, and nothing is defective.
