1 starTwo weeks ago I went online to get an estimate of the value of my truck. I received several phone calls and emails from dealerships, particularly **** from **** **** Nissan in **** and ***** at **** **** ********* in **********. Several texts were exchanged, and I was assured they were very interested in my truck, even if I just wanted to sell and not trade. Before going, I got an estimate from a closer dealership. I immediately texted **** to see if they could do better. She very emphatically assured me they could. I moved my work schedule and had my wife drive separately to the dealership, which was over an hour away for both of us. **** scheduled me with **, and again I clarified I was looking to sell, not trade. When I arrived, I was greeted by a sales associate, who did most of the work but told me ** would talk to me. Then the associate very awkwardly entered some numbers on his phone and attempted to explain their offer to me - I had to explicitly ask what the offer was because he was so confusing. Not only did they offer me less than the other dealership, I had to ask to speak with **, who acted like I was interfering with his day. So, I was lied to/misled about a potential offer and treated like I was bothering the guy I was told to ask for. I'm pretty sure my name was never mentioned to **, as the goal was to just get me there.Unfortunately, I had a very similar experience when I went to **** **** *********, who offered me an even lower price and was told the offer was "aggressive." - I had also texted ***** about the local offer.I had no intention of posting any negative reviews until I received multiple automatic emails about my experience, the last of which was from **** herself pretending to be concerned and wanting to be helpful. Just a reminder that large dealerships like this generally do not care about individuals and will say and do anything to get a prospective buyer on their lot, including flat out lie to them.Review fromKatie M

1 starMisleading pricing on the website got us in the dealership. We were informed of the true price after the test drive when I questioned the write up. We were not informed of the $800 accessories fee they were trying to tack on without explanation. I asked and was shamed about not knowing what Zbar was. When we told him we were disappointed in the price being different than the website seemed to claim, the salesman ****** said, yeah I know, I work here in a dismissive and rude tone. We told him we were no longer interested and he started getting rude and extremely pushy. We told him we wanted to go see a car at a different dealership and after glancing at it on my phone, he started saying how that car was not near as good as the car he wanted to sell us and didnt have the same features. We explained to him that his car had the features we wanted listed on the website, but in actuality, the car did not have those features when we test drove it and the one we wanted to go look at now did. As we were trying to walk out the door, he kept bringing the price that we owed on the car down more and more until finally offering us a gift card to take the car and our trade-in. So he went down from us needing to pay $3700 to GIVING us money. So they are definitely not giving fair prices. The salesman and manager surrounded my husband, berating him to just make the deal. They wouldnt give us our keys back for the car we brought to trade in when we were ready to go with the manager saying they threw them on the roof and walked away while we were trying to get our baby and two toddlers in the car in the middle of winter. He eventually brought them out and made my husband walk around the building to find the car on his own. Terribly condescending, pushy and unprofessional. We have bought many cars from many different dealerships and were never treated so horribly. Ill never go to an **** **** again because I imagine they all are training with similar principles and management.Review fromJonny M

1 starI NEVER complain or make any kind of post like this, however, I know several people who have purchased cars from here. I also have recommended people here and feel I should make them aware. **** and I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue from **** **** Nissan brand new last year. We decided we wanted to start looking into a minivan option and found one at a local dealership! When we took the rogue in they found where we had over $4,000 dollars in warranties on the car. At this point I was extremely confused because I specifically remember telling them absolutely not the car is brand new it has enough warranty as it is. HOWEVER, they used an electronic signature system on this fancy table and the guy in finance swiped to the bottom and asked us to sign. My naive self signed and trust what he was saying to be true. Typically a read documents but felt rushed and with the electronic process didnt get a clear opportunity to read them! So apparently we signed for these warranties. Curiously I check the paperwork for 2021 *** K5 we bought at this very same dealership and sure enough theres over 3 thousand dollars worth of added warranties! Infuriated I called and was directed to the general manager after being on hold over two hours. He was extremely dismissive and arrogant. Made comments like if I hurry you may get the reimbursement check in 4-6 weeks, but thats only the money left on the warrantyNeedless to say I had a big error in not insisting to read the documents before signing. I am aware now that you truly cannot trust the word of anyone because if they see an opportunity to take advantage of you, they will. If you decide to buy from **** **** Nissan in **** IN, insist to have a hard copy and read EVERYTHING! And I encourage you to read the ****** reviews for their finance departmentwe are not the only ones who have had this happenReview fromLynn L

1 starI purchsed a 2006 Scion xA from ***************** on May 28, 2024. Once I got the vehicle home, I took it to my mechanic (I live an hour from ****) to get the oil changed and see if there were any repairs I needed to make. My mechanic contacted me saying that when he put it up on the rack, he could see extensive damage to the underbody due to extreme rust. There were holes and parts that were so rusted they were about ready to give out. He said the car was not safe to drive so I haven't driven it since. I contacted the Sales Manager and she would not do anything about it because she said I signed an "As-Is" agreement. The car was not even safe for me to drive off their lot, let alone to my home! I know that when they did the state required inspection (if they actually did one), they would have seen the damage to the structure of the car and would have known that they could not see it as is. I want my money back, all $6200! STAY AWAY FROM ANY OF THE ***************** DEALERSHIPS! The can not be trusted!Review fromAngeline N

1 starI purchased a 2016 Nissan Frontier in March 2020 from Andy Mohr Avon Nissan. I paid $3,995.00 for a CPO Wrap Warranty (the Gold, Security+Plus). Recently when I needed to use the warranty I was told that my warranty had expired. But I had a signed copy in my hand and it had NOT expired. Upon further research, I found out that one of their employees (who has since been fired) had voided the warranty the day after I signed it. I was never notified that my warranty was voided. They claim it was a clerical error. So I am paying (with interest) for a warranty that I did not have. Taking money for a product or service and then not providing said product or service is FRAUD. If it was a clerical error why didn't they refund my money?*******************************Review fromBennie D

1 starBought a 2021 Nissan Rogue from ***************** Nissan ***** bought a bumper to bumper plan also, put down ******* so as to have no questions. They still have me ****** payment with bumper to bumper plan included. They never printed out bumper to bumper plan, I assume it's inferior or they thought I wouldn't use it, wrong! Tire had s**** in it and I could call NUI of ******* to get authorization because I had no bumper to bumper warranty document. Called dealership and was told I didn't purchase it when I bought the car, wrong! I had vehicle oil changed and someone went in computer and pulled up and printed out my warranty. This is after purchasing tire for ****** out of pocket. So I call NUI of ******* and they say they have to deny claim because I didn't call prior, understandable but how without contract document and telephone number. I previously leased a 2020 Nissan Rogue from ***************** Nissan **** and they tried to rip me off in negotiations so I went to ****** Nissan to purchase my lease instead. I will no longer deal with anyone who shows tendencies to not deal fairly with customers. I am trying to make a claim with NUI of ******* now and only now I see what they cover or don't cover. They pretty much pick and choose what they will fix and what they won't fix. Before selling this the dealership should have a printout for what the company offers instead of selling a garbage warranty, ****** Nissan said they trashed the company which tells me the warranty was garbage but I will alert as many people as possible even after I get justice. I tried to take away one star review and it can't be removed.Review fromScott K

1 starI just bought a used 2015 VW Jetta from ***************** Nissan last week. The sales process was ok but delayed due to a mechanical issue with the key chamber where you turn the key. There was no real communication on it for week. I proceeded with trust . They delivered they car and it was raining so I will be honest did a quick review which was on Saturday. Monday I wanted to drive it to work to make sure its safe for my daughter. The car key would turn it was locked . It took 30 minutes . This now explains why one the keys the face me wad broken her. I tried to use. As looked deeper into the car every single tire was a different brand with different thread levels. When inquired about the key and tires twice I was told its a German car and it will start working over time. The car was as is so we delivered as is with a brands of tires in the car. Im scared to death of what else I will find. They are not ethical or honest in their dealing and Im sure this car has had more work than they reported . Its a shame dealers get away with this . My Carvana experience was 10 times better , more ethical , and honest. On used cars stay way from *****************. Will add photos later.Review frombob d.

2 starsBUYER BEWARE! Sales team said MAF sensor was bad but failed to diagnose / disclose two other bad sensors. After several stalling incidents in the first week, I took the car to a local dealer who diagnosed and repaired. ***************** Nissan refuses to acknowledge any responsibility. When the salesperson says, "We're not in business to s**** over customers." You should be very wary.Review fromNicole O

1 starI had the worst experience with this dealership. I scheduled an appointment with **** to test drive a vehicle at 2:30. When we arrived it was 2:12pm and the car was readily available when I pulled up. **** stoped me and asked who stopped me and said he just put the key up. When we asked them to pop the ***************** stated the hood was stuck and he had to get a mechanic to open it. It may take a while. We agreed to wait so he took the key back and came back and and stated someone else decided to test drive the car and they purchased it. This happened all in a matter of 15 mins. I called and spoke with the sales manager ***** who was rude, and condescending and had another person listening to the call. None of these individuals deserve to work for ***************** because they will tarnish the brands name
