I ordered 3 items from **************************. I only received 2! ****** RUBY red fat quarter, 7.99, was not in order because 'discontinued,' instead there was some yarn holder I did NOT order and would NOT have ordered! No refund on bill for added shipping, taxes or item. ***** to send online request. Would not go thru! Tried calling 80o number. Was told name change, I used 'wrong' service (******) and had to download foxfire...etc. then hung up on because I became upset. (I did not swear...I was upset. 7/7 I bought a kit from Annie's: the ******************* afghan kit. Paid $49.7/13 or so: Annie's emailed me a refund because item was "out of stock." I went to the Website, and the item (#******) was in stock, with the price up to $96.Emails and FB messages to Annie's were met with:- we will contact you - we called 3x and you didn't answer - we left messages They have my phone # from various orders, and from my FB messages and emails. I checked with my phone provider just to make sure, even though I never delete calls or voice-mails. On May 16,2023 I canceled 3 magazine subscriptions: 1 for country sampler, 1 for farmhouse style and 1 for country sampler gift for my mother who no longer wants it either.I recd emails the same day (May 16) stating they had each been canceled and refund checks in these amounts were in the process of being generated and mailed to me: country sampler $12.00, farmhouse style $21.89, country sampler gift $25.00 On June 13,2023 I sent an email asking when I would receive the refunds ? On June 14, I recd an email stating my refund check was sent out on May 16 and to allow 4-6 weeks to arrive.On July 5, I wrote yet another email stating itd been over 7 weeks and no refund checks asking for an update. No response.On July 18, I called and spoke with customer service. I was told their supervisor was checking on this as itd been so long and I would be receiving a call to be updated. No call ever came.On July 25, I called customer service again and was told a supervisor would be calling me. I recd a short call, supervisor informed me a refund check for $33.89 had been mailed out on June 30th. I asked first about the $25.00 gift subscription refund I was also to be receiving ? And I stated it wouldnt take a month for mailed check to get to me, not even by pony express, seriously. I still havent received any refund checks. She was going to check on the $25.00 refund and get back to me. She never did.I have waited since May 16,2023 for refund check(s) for these 3 cancelled subscriptions. I have tried to resolve this on my own working with customer service but have gotten nowhere.Its bad enough they said allow 4-6 weeks for refund checks but took 6 1/2 weeks before they supposedly mailed it, and their first story was they were mailed back on May 26.Ive received NOTHING.It will be 11 weeks tomorrow that Ive waited. I just finally received one of the refund checks, the check was for $33.89 which covers two of the three refunds, it covers the $12.00 one and the $21.89 one. That still leaves the outstanding refund for the $25.00 subscription cancellation. I find it frustrating that they dated the refund check that I did receive *** 39,2023 and envelope clearly shows it wasnt mailed/postmarked until 8/2/2023. I have ordered the ******* Afghan Crochet Kit. the offer was for a monthly shipment of materials, pattern and access to instructional videos. The company has failed to provide monthly shipments and is withholding the final kit. My last shipment was 6.5 weeks ago, and I was just told by *** at customer service that the final kit will be distributed in August - so at LEAST TWO MONTHS after the next to last kit. I explained that I have enough yarn to complete the last steps, and just need the pattern, yet the company employee refused to send the pattern. In general - the offer is a rip off. They send significantly more yarn than is needed to finish the project (I have at least 1.5 skeins of left over yarn for EACH COLOR), and my gauge is correct. Its just a way for them to maximize revenue and then fail to uphold their end of the agreement - a shipment per month. Im asking for electronic access for the pattern and video instructions and no payment for yarn for the final shipment as I have plenty.Business Response

I purchased a crochet kit club from Annie's which was to be sent out in ten separate installments. I have paid for all ten. I did not receive enough materials to complete the project despite having paid in full. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is barely satisfactory to me.It does need to be said however, that the business uses practices that are not transparent, including somehow blocking the customer from informing other customers of problems using standard review sites such as ************ etc. And appearing to hide their actual location for swift and accurate communication.
Additionally, it simply took far too long to resolve this issue, and the communication even at the time of resolution was barely cordial; certainly lacking the tone of apology that one would hope to receive after being treated so poorly, after purchasing an expensive product.

I started a subscription with Annies under the pretenses itd be $0 and Id only have to pay for the $5.95 shipping to try the kit. I would be sent new sections of the kit every month for only $5.95. Or thats what the authorization I signed was for. I realized they were charging me more and tried to cancel over email. I never heard back. They are still charging me- AND they are charging me $28!!! Every month! I did not agree to this and will be talking to an attorney this month if I cant handle with card company or I have any issues with my refund. I have the original agreement and will go to court if I cannot resolve immediately. We did have a setup mistake on our order page for a short time on March 30 - April 1, 2022 where the copy stated the kits would be $0.00. When we learned about the mistake, we corrected it immediately and sent an email (attached) to all of the customers who had purchased the club. We explained what had happened and gave the customer the option to cancel the subscription or to continue at the normal price.

1.) A follow up email was NEVER sent. See attached emails Ive received from Annies. And even if it was their mistake and canceled later, I NEVER gave my permission to charge my card for any of the shipments except for shipping cost. They cannot change their mind later and charge me more for the product. I never would have signed up. It was extremely fraudulent and misleading and frankly theft. My subscription has STILL not been cancelled on their end and Im STILL receiving product that theyre charging me for. They need to refund me for every charge as I never agreed to this. I belong to two of the kit clubs offered. The first being the seaside striped afghan. A month ago I received a wrong kit and emailed. I was told I would receive the correct kit in **** days. It never came. **************** by phone was no help. Emails go unanswered. I paid $27.34 for this kit. Not to mention 10 other kits of the same price that sit incomplete due to not receiving this one. Second, I belong to the crotchet ************ with every 2 week shipments that cost $27.34. I received the first 7 shipments and they have not shipped anything else in a month. So I have 7 out of 11 kits and can not complete the project. Again customer service by phone will not resolve and emails go unanswered. I would like to receive my kits as ordered or a refund of previous kits since I am unable to complete the projects.
