    We booked two rooms for a soccer tournament that we required to stay at this hotel. When we checked in the rooms had a horrible odor and when we check the room sheets there was bed bugs in one of the rooms. We went and told the front desk that we couldn't stay there and checking out and wanted a refund. They said we signed a contract and they could not refund **. I called the manager today and she said the same thing and hung up on me numerous times. Another guest checked out too and was refunded, there room was soaking wet. ***************************** General Manager **************************************************** ************

    I made reservations through hotels.com for Best Western Plus (**************, **) from 9/26/22 through 10/10/22. I am a journeyman electrician, therefore the hotel was reserved for work at a job site out of town. The job was coming to an end earlier than expected, so I asked the hotel front desk staff working evening and the front desk staff working morning, if I could check out on 10/6/22 and receive a refund for 10/6/22-10/9/22, as my job was ending. Both hotel front desks clerks informed me I could check out early and receive a refund, however, they did not know how to process the refund and the manager would do so when they came in. I did not receive my refund. After several attempts of leaving voice mails , I contacted Corporate in which an email address was given. The Manager responded on 10/26/22, denying to refund and stating, "employees does not understand the rules". It is not unusual for hotels to make exceptions to cancellation/refund policies based on circumstances as a customer courtesy.Had the hotel staff understood the rules and were properly trained by the management, I could've possibly made other arrangements with my employer to stay on the job through the check out date instead of incurring out of pocket expenses for days I didn't work.I was provided incorrect information by the hotel staff, therefore, I am requesting a refund for dates 10/6/22-10/9/22.
