I had the misfortune to stay in this hotel last summer. My family and I came to visit for the very first time **************, ******* from ***********, *********. The room that was assigned to us was not up to the minimum cleanliness standards to be even rent. It was filthy. I requested assistance from the housekeeping and explained that they were short staffed. Understandable. I guessed. I ended cleaning the bathtub myself to be able to have a comfortable shower. We were in town for a friend's son graduation ceremony. After we were back, I asked to speak with the manager. He was *****************************; owner and manager. He wasn't happy I was complaining about the conditions of the room, and that I was requesting to be moved to another room or to be compensated for the inconvenience. ******************************** in a very aggressive and confrontational manner told me to take the room as it is or to leave it. That I had 20 minutes to leave the room if I wasn't happy with the conditions. That there was nothing else. We decided to leave the room after such of rude treatment. We went across the street to the Holiday Inn Express. Big time difference! When I contacted the application Hotelsgogo's people to request my money back from BWP, they contacted ******************************** to verify if indeed we didn't spend the weekend in his hotel in order to process my refund, ***************************** made a false statement; he lied to Hotelsgogo app and they denied me my money back. I fought back and presented all the proofs that we stated at Holiday Inn and charges. After several weeks, I only got 50% back which is to what Hotelsgogo said is what ********************* had agreed to after their investigation. So, I ended up paying for cleaning someone else's filth, being kicked out and all, because I dared to complained and demand for what I paid for. This guy, *****************************, treats his guests the same way as he treats his employees. He got no business running a hotel. He has no honor.
