Tech Credit Union practices unfair lending. A representative of Tech Credit Union ***************************** loan officer serviced me for a secured loan on my home that has ******* in equity. ********************* lead me on for weeks on end requesting all of my personal information i.e. taxes, check stubs, offer of employment, home owners insurance, home takes, mortgage statement, employment offers etc. She lead me to believe that I was going to get the loan and then denied me after getting all of my personal information on a weekly basis. This credit union needs to be stopped from practicing unfair lending when they know they have no intention of granting you a loan. The continually ran my credit score and brought my score down. I spoke with the loan officer each week and she continued to request proprietary information. It is unkown to me what the credit union will do with this information. Please investigate their lending practices and online reviews.

My husband requested a loan via phone with Tech Credit Union. The loan was made a consolidation loan which was not his request. The loan closed on 11/3/22 at the teller window in front of everyone. The agent told my husband that Tech would send checks to his creditors to pay off his credit cards. It is 11/16 and the cards are not paid. LPCs and interest is accruing and this is now a mess. Tech should be made to pay the extra charges that were charged after 11/3. Please help! Thank you!

The member's payoff checks were mailed to their current credit card companies per our underwriting guidelines for a debt consolidation loan.  Two of the three checks have not been received/processed by the credit card companies.  We contacted the members and as of 11/21/2022, we have placed stop payments on the items that were lost in the mail and have arranged for expedited payments via overnight mail.  I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and will continue to work with the members until the payoffs are received by the other financial institutions.

      Thank you,
