I hired Aardvark with confidence. They found some things I would not have thought to check. However they missed some serious electrical issues that I am concerned about. The only outlet in 1 bedroom is broken. The wiring is very old and has lost its coating. I would recommend finding your own checklist of possible problems before you hire an inspector. I do not recommend Aardvark

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Aardvark for your home inspection. Were glad to hear that some of our findings were helpful to you, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns.
Regarding the electrical issues mentioned we want to clarify that your inspection report includes five full pages of electrical observations, along with supporting photos. These documented concerns include the condition of the electrical, outlet functionality, and a clear recommendation that a licensed electrician review the entire electrical system prior to closing.
Our role as home inspectors is to identify visible and accessible issues and provide a detailed, unbiased report so that clients can make informed decisions. We stand by the accuracy and thoroughness of our report in this case.
For full transparency, we would be happy to provide a copy of your inspection report to anyone reviewing this feedback. In light of the detailed findings that were reported and discussed, we kindly ask that you consider removing or revising your review, as it does not reflect the full scope of the inspection or the information we provided.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please dont hesitate to reach out directly.

One week post inspection (on a brand new build home) and inspector failed to find- 1. Shower that has plumbing issues and does not drain. 2. Toilet that has plumbing issues and does not drain. 3. A shower that has the hot and cold dial flip flopped. 4. ANOTHER shower that has the hot and cold flip flopped. 5. A brand new dryer in which the drum does not rotate correctly and makes an eerie/loud noise (still not sure of the cause yet). 6. Ventilation that should be fixed to the property -(was hot glued). 6. A major faucet leak in the main bath. Not to count so many more. When I called to simply speak to someone about this (most problems should be fixed from builder), the receptionist was uncooperative and nosey and would not let me speak to a single person without explaining all of my issues to her-for some reason?!HORRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY FARRRRR AWAY.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your home inspection we performed for you.  As explained everything in your new home drained properly at the time of the inspection.  You can see this in the photos that are actually in your home inspection report.  Furthermore you were offered a sewer scope to ensure the drains in your home were properly installed, and have no issues.  The contract you signed, and entered to with Aardvark actually explains this.  The receptionist you spoke with was helping you.  She was following our company procedure which is to gather the information and pass it on to management for review so that they may handle it from there.  She was not being "Nosey" she was helping to facilitate the resolve of your issue.  I can not speak to the other claims as we never got a chance to gather all of the information before you hung up on us, and then posted these reviews.  Here at Aardvark we set out to do a great job in each, and everything we do.  Sometimes we fall short, but we always do the right thing.  You do not get to the top 1% off all home inspection companies in ***************** and the top reviewed home inspection companies in the state by not operating this way.
