    I purchased a vehicle from Safeway Auto Finance in February 2025 and have experienced serious and ongoing issues since the day of purchase. The vehicle developed major problems within weeks including a front wheel that completely detached while I was driving with my child in the car. This incident could have easily caused a crash or serious injury. I later learned the car had mismatched parts and was not in roadworthy ************ addition, the dealership told me I needed to put $2,000 down. I paid $1,500 at the time of sale, and they agreed I could pay the remaining $500 later. However, they instructed me to tell the finance company (************) that I had paid the full $2,000 upfront, which was not true. They also withheld my title application until I paid them the balance using it as leverage to force further payment.I have filed a formal complaint with the ****************************************************** and am continuing to submit evidence. I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this dealership.
