    Received bill on 2/10/2023 for walk in covid test taken on 8/2/2021 for over $2400. Unfair billing practices in a time when the world was fighting this deadly illness. Since bill was issued so late I cannot dispute with my insurer. Stay away from NW Indiana *************************** in ******* Indiana.

    This *** *************************** facility in ***********, is just now billing me for services when I was treated on 6/2021 and 1/2022 this is 2023!I feel this facility has over charged my health insurance and now they want more dollars. I was informed that the facility only bills "COMMERCIAL" health INSURACNE plans or WILL TAKE walkins ONLY, And that NO other deductible, co-ins or co-pays would be appliedafter they bill the "commercial plan. They ONLY bill the commercial insurance they DO NOT take ******** or ******** patients. This is the only statement I have received today 2/4/2023 when I CALLED TO discuss why am I just now getting this bill I was told I should have seen my EOB! Again, I did review both of my EOB's and this was why I am aware my insurance is being over charged for these services in which I thought was why I would not owe additional dollars for using this facility. I was told they are NOT a Community hospital and the doctor and nurses are all coming to this *** ER to work to treat patients and they will not over charge. My insurance processed these claims in a timely manner and paid there providers in a timely manner, but yet this facility is unable to bill out there statements in a timely manner am not. This place is not worth the money!
