While living at the Ardizzone, Oasis Apartment complex, I experienced renters retaliation from the office staff and was able to break out of my lease after contacting upper management. I was being purposely locked out of my account, with the office hoping to prevent me from paying rent after asking to many questions about my bill. ( I had to go to upper management to have my account unlocked. This was done by office staff) I was also having the cops being sent outside of my unit from the apartment complex(By ******) for no reason other then to intimadate me. When i went to return my keys to the apartment on oct 1,2023, they lied and stated they did not receive my keys. I had to provide video footage of me putting the keys in the drop box. I turned in my keys on Oct.1, 2023. After being told i would not have to pay anything else to *****, i was charged fraudulent charges in retaliation by office staff ******. Once i left i was owed a full security deposit of $300, i had paid all outstanding balances (I was almost never late) I was ensured my money would be returned. ****** the same person i had to call the police on, in retaliation again charged me for a bunch of charges that were made up and from previous months in the summer. They added on charges that were completely fraudulent to my account so they would not have to issue me a refund. I'm reaching out in hopes this business can be reported and my full security deposit returned. Also the apartment was returned in perfect condition.

    Hello -

The residents portrayal of the situation is not entirely accurate.  She had an unauthorized occupant and she knew it and would not work with the office.  The obvious reason was because he was a violent felon.  We do employ and patrol our communities for the safety of our residents.  It's an additional cost we bear for safety and security of our residents.  We don't target anyone and we patrol all of our communities the same.  Nonetheless, we communicated with ***** throughout the vacating process and we waived typical lease breakage fees in order to allow her to go somewhere else with her boyfriend who would not be allowed into any of our communities.  We felt that we were very fair and ***** had the opportunity to directly communicate with our Regional and Director level.  Thank you!
