    on 10-14-2024 i received a letter. it says i owe bleecker, ****** and andrews ***** dollars for a loan through onemain financial. i drove to one main financial office in ******* ********. i talked with ******** *****...she said she has no information about me in her system. she called her main office. they also said i was not in their system. i then called bleecker ****** and andrews... man on the phone says i owe for a jeep wrangler...i have never owned a jeep in my life... i think what happened is bleecker, ****** and andrews could not find the person responsible for this debt so they stole my identity and blamed me... i want these idiots to apologize and fix my credit and anything else they have started...i think they should send me the ****** dollars they accuse me of taking as a penalty...then i think they should go back to law school. AND I WOULD REALLY, REALLY LIKE TO KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NAME AND ADDRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Complaint Against ********************** Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint against Bleeker, Brodey, and Andrews regarding the conduct of their agent, ***************************. On July 10th, 2024, **************** pressured me to sign a consent judgment and made the threatening statement, we will get you one way or another. He insisted that I print the form, sign it, and have it notarized without the other party present. When I informed him that a notary requires both parties to be present, he dismissed my concern by stating, they didnt know what they were talking about, and continued to pressure and belittle me.This behavior is highly unprofessional and, I believe, a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). I am requesting that the BBB assist in having the recordings of all calls I have had with **************** reviewed to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.I would appreciate the BBB's intervention to address this matter and ensure that no other consumers experience such treatment.Thank you for your attention to this issue.     Hello, I had spoken with an agent last month regarding my account that is in collections going as far as to agree and set up bi-monthly payments that were to begin on 03/14/24.Since that time, my account with *************** was hacked and closed. Having to deal with some health issues as well as working at ******************** today was the first chance that I had to call to make BBA aware of the situation and what was going on as I didn't want anyone to think that I had just bailed on my agreement. When I called I was unable to speak with anyone because I didn't have my case number nor the person's name that I spoke with and was told that without that specific information, I could not speak with anyone. Now, I do have that information however it is at the Ortho South location and I have been transferred to the North location and am not sure exactly where the info has been placed. Having worked for a collection company that they have worked with as well, I cannot understand how one could not look up my account by my name, social security number or phone number...not to mention when I was trying to explain all of this, the lady I spoke with hung up on me. I called back, she answered and I let her know that I am going to file a complaint with the BBB as this is ridiculous that you have someone reaching out to you to make things right and all she can do is read off of a script. I have a new bank account and would like to give BBA the information to get things set up again so that I can avoid having my wages garnished. If there is anyone that can help me, you have my name and phone number. Thank you.

    Had a garnishment with this company. Garnishment is paid in full. They took almost $800 more than the amount owed. I have received a portion of the money owed back, but when Im still missing $409 I called to try to figure it out. When I called, the attorney yelled at me and wouldnt give me the information for the accounting department so I could work with them to figure out where the missing money is.

    March 6, 2023 I paid $2500 as an offered settlement to an account. The business was supposed to report the account to the credit bureaus as 'settled for less than amount owed'. As of this date, May 11, 2023, I have still yet to receive a receipt for payment and my most recent credit update only reflects the balance decrease of the amount of payment. Payment was made in 2 transactions on March 6, 2023 so it was within the time frame. The email was bouncing back as undeliverable on their contact ** page when I tried to contact them because it would not let me pay online because it would not let me verify my account, so I had to end up paying by phone.

    I had a loan through Republic Finance turned over to collections through this office. My checking account had changed and Republic Finances websites would not let me update it and I could not get anyone over the phone (this appears to be a common issue based on complaints on here.) I received a letter from Bleeker, Brodey, and Andrews, never a phone call like I wouldve expected for a collection agency. I attempted to pay the bill online but the code that was sent in the letter would not work. I attempted calling and it is impossible to get through to a person. I filled out information online and never heard anything, finally I found an email address, after emailing I received a call, I work in health care and cannot answer my phone at work sometimes if I am with patients, so I missed the call and every time I tried to return the call I was either on hold until I could no longer wait or I was able to leave a voicemail. I never actually spoke to an actual person in this office. I shortly after received a court summons. Around this same time I had mailed a check along with a note that I would like to be contacted to arrange payment, the check was cashed but I have still not been contacted by them.
