This company preys on the elderly to pressure them and the provide expensive and unnecessary services. They came and did a free inspection on my mother's condo and told her she had an extensive mouse problem in her attic and was going to charge her $6,900 to fix it. She had another company come for a second opinion and was told she had no issues. Her friend also had the exact same experience with this company. They are not to be trusted! Very high-pressure sales tactics, poor service. I would not recommend it. The salesperson came to the house and pressured me to engage, to the extent he would not leave unless I committed to something with a promise of quality service and reduced cost, etc. That said, the first time, they did a great job. Every time after that they did virtually nothing except sprinkle some dust in the yard, they didn't even go all the way around the house, they didn't clear the webs, nothing... I know because I have the entire series of visits on camera. Then, trying to cancel took almost twenty minutes of bickering to get them to cancel. Not a pleasant experience at all. I would suggest not engaging unless you have the money you don't care about tossing at a service that doesn't do anything because canceling takes a great deal of fortitude and commitment.EcoShield Pest Solutions Indianapolis, LLC

The old bait and switch.In late May I was approached by a sales person concerning insect control for the home I was at. I stated I was renting but would consider a one time treatment to see if this would help with the ants in the lawn. He produced a contract and I signed believing it was a one time thing. Unfortunately it was a yearly contract, something I never would have done. I paid for the initial lawn treatment which is what I thought I had agreed to. But the contract was different than the one agreed to. Now I am getting calls and emails, first to pay the periodic fees and and now to pay a termination fee. I told them I will pay nothing beyond what was agreed to initially. These people lie and prey on the unsuspecting. On top of all this their treatment did not work. Great company! I was first approached by a sales representative, who convinced me to try out their services back in April of last year. They cant by and got rid of the issue I was having with mice and spiders, and I havent seen anything since. THESE SALES REPRESENTATIVES NEED A RAISE! My dog went missing in the morning of August 01/2023. We were looking for her all afternoon. My husband was home and a kind young man knocked on our door to pitch the service. My husband and I already were looking for someone because we have had issues with ants and mice and stink bugs. My husband signed up for the services. The young man explained he had to keep knocking to try to get the rest of his route filled in our neighborhood of Forest Hills, Indianapolis. He however took his time with my husband and I to look for our dog as he mentioned he saw a dog straying when he was knocking in the morning. He led us through his steps and after an hour of searching we found our dog ***** thanks to his help. Not only that, but the service technician was so kind and knocked all our cob webs down and was super informative with our needs and put in service permanent notes that our side gate is to always be closes before they leave. Truly awful experience working with ecoshield. Techs arrived late, uninformed, and sometimes high.We had a TERRIBLE and Manipulative experience with rodents. We were first told they couldn't get a tech into our home to go look in the attic for rodents (thought is part of the coverage). Then, they swiftly changed their mind and arrived. The tech went into the attic and apparently took a bunch of pictures that he showed my husband. Said there were rodent droppings everywhere (on the far side where it's harder for us to get to) and that we needed to get rid of all our insulation and put in new insulation. He came "prepared" with a book of pricing for insulation. Why an exterminator feels he can do insulation work I don't know. Then he left WITHOUT SETTING ANY TRAPS! He said he had no traps in his truck but never came back to put some out.We went up into the attic later and saw NO EVIDENCE of rodents or their droppings as shown on the tech's phone. We were lied to or at best manipulated. They wanted us to spend thousands on work we didn't need, and did NOTHING to set traps or bate around the home.We later had a different service provider come over that confirmed we did NOT have a rodent problem in the attic and there were no droppings. This is deceitful, amoral, and not a way to run a business. When we reported this to ECOshield they didn't even apologize, let alone release us from our contract or try to make it right.Every time they arrived for our yellow jacket problem, they had no notes as to where the problem was, how it it was treated the last time, etc.Scheduling is poor. They do not give you notice when they come and often don't get inside the home because it isn't properly scheduled.Techs are uninformed and a few times have come into my home under the influence - with small children this felt dangerous, uncomfortable, and unprofessional.EcoShield Pest Solutions Indianapolis, LLC

Worst ever business, products are worthless, techs complain about how they are treated , they say guaranteed but zero results , expensive and then good luck if you have a problem, ***** the manager will lie, distort , insult , and threaten because she knows their services are atrocious and tries to intimidate and use loopholes in the contract. ****** it before trying you will see endless lawsuits.
