Recently bought a home built in **** that was not very well maintained. We had Bone Dry Roofing (*********, **) out to replace the top 11 courses of chimney and rebuild with a new flue tile and rain cap, along with a custom poured, floating concrete crown. They also inspected flue liner, made repairs/ re-caulking and parged smoke chamber to bring to current code requirements (removing corbeled configuration). They were onsite for three days and their team did an amazing job! Clear communication, regular updates and pictures were provided throughout each day. We even had bad winter weather coming in and they were able to get us started a week earlier than originally scheduled to beat it.

My experience was great. ***** was awesome. He was informative and very helpful with all my questions. He even came back the day after install to follow up to make sure all was good. The install crew was efficient, did great work and carefully cleaned everything afterwards. The price was great, too! I highly recommend Roof One, LLC

Bone Dry was recommended to me after discovering that my chimney was rotted out and needed to be repaired. I had water damage in my family room ceiling after it would rain and later discovered that my chimney was rotted out pretty badly. I was told by the company that the water damage was most likely caused by the rotted chimney. After a couple months of water tests, multiple men coming to the house to inspect the damage, Bone Dry washed their hands of the water damage and said I should hire a plumber to find the leak, which I did. The water damage was not from a plumbing leak and the plumber said that the water damage was caused by the rotted chimney. Bone Dry continued to deny or help with the water damage. Bone Dry came out to repair my chimney and after paying them, a contractor that I used discovered that they didn't actually repair the rot in the chimney AT ALL. When I contacted them about this and sent them pictures, they were very rude and condescending. They could not explain to me how this would happen and would come back to fix it at "no charge". After I had already paid them thousands of dollars to complete the project. If I would not have had a contractor go into my attic to inspect the work, I would have never known that Bone Dry did not repair it and this could have caused major issues down the road. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service through this entire process has been extremely poor and frustrating.

We have been out multiple times. Performed multiple water tests with multiple managers. The interior damage is not coming from the chimney. We offered to redo the chimney scope of work again, and did so several months ago. There is nothing else to do. The damage she is referring was caused by a plumbing leak.

I had raccoon damage on a roof that I owned for at least 23 years (so likely much older than that). After requesting estimates from multiple companies, Roof One came in with not only the best price, but the most detail in their estimate outlining exactly what would be covered. I reached out to other competitors to get the same level of detail and they wouldn't provide it. They also provided up front details about their company, 44 pages of satisfied customers, proof of license and insurance, and product options and details and differences in cost and provided actual product samples (not just glossy photos). So I went with them and was not disappointed. They were excellent in communicating and letting me know what to expect. They kept to all their promises and timing. The crew was exceptional, friendly, and professional. They paid close attention to details, fixed things that were not done properly by previous owners and when the home was built. They took pride in their work and craftsmanship, and left the place cleaner than it was. The house looks amazing in the end, with higher quality product than I had before, done right, and fast. To have got many so many years with a roof done wrong originally, I feel confident the new materials will outlive me. Roof One also provided a better guarantee on labor than any other contractor we spoke to, giving an even greater peace of mind beyond the material quality. Raccoons are evicted and sealed out, and will have a tough time now taking up residence again! One of the reasons I included Roof One in on the contractors I requested quotes from is because I had two other friends who used them as well and they highly recommended giving them a chance. So, I'm passing it on now, check them out, you won't be disappointed.

The Roof itself appears satisfactory; time will tell. Job required some fixes and extra work after the fact; which has been an absolute uphill fight now that they've been paid. Communication after the job has been vague, obtuse and aggressive; bordering on condescension. Local Branch Manager has now cancelled the Siding Job that became required due to a find during the roofing job. Sadly I now question whether Bone Dry was the right choice for the job and if indeed their Warranty will be honored or skirted. I can echo nearly every complaint for Bone Dry here on BBB. Caveat Emptor.I have reached out to the *********** to inform him of his Local Branch issues.

Hello. We have communicated with you that the material has been ordered to address *********** issue and we will take care of the *********** the materials arrive. Additionally, your roof warranty is valid. In reference to the siding job, we have canceled the siding project. It was determined we have addressed each of your issues and it appears that no matter what we offer, you are not satisfied, thus we believe it is best to not provide the additional siding services.

I received a contract from Bone Dry for a new roof. I signed the contract and returned and received a thank you letter from the owner. Several days later they contacted me and stated they forgot to include labor in the contract and could no longer honor the contract. The price clearly includes labor as what else would be in a $10k roofing quote besides materials? There is not $10,000 worth of shingles on *******. I advise to avoid this company as they clearly do not honor their contracts.

This review is for Bone Dry Roofing whose local office is in ********, ****. I had Bone Dry Roofing install a new roof on my house while we were on vacation. Upon returning home and inspecting the outside of my house, I found multiple areas of damage that probably was caused by the negligent removal of the old roof shingles. My elevated deck had many black tar marks on the rails which, also, had a few gouges on their surfaces. The deck was scuffed from not being protected when old shingles were apparently tossed down onto it. The stucco walls of the house had black tar marks on them. The front gutters were slightly dented, a rear spotlight was broken, a lower window sill trim was badly dented, a front window frame was dented, and the list could go on. The worst finding was inside the house where apparently a heavy tool (nail gun?) was dropped while working in the attic to close off vent holes and busted a hole in the ceiling of the living room. The tool had to drop through 19 inches of insulation to cause damage. They paid for the repair, but the patch color can't match the color of the surrounding large area ceiling without having to paint the whole ceiling which would be inconvenient as it encompasses not only the living room but hallway, kitchen, and breakfast nook. I will say that the Operations Manager was very cooperative and agreed to and did have an employee fix what could be fixed as best as he was able, but a fix is never really as good as the original condition. I assume that the roof was correctly installed, but with all the issues I encountered, it makes me wonder about Bone Dry's quality control. I regret having hired this company to replace the roof.

For such a major, stressful expense such as my very first roof replacement, Roof One made this a pleasant experience. I did receive numerous estimates but when my friend let me know that he used ROOF ONE along with a friend of his, I was easily swayed.I really appreciated ******* leave behind folder full of valuable information along with the satisfied customer reference book. I loved being able to drive around the neighborhood looking at the various colors of shingles and how they looked installed on actual houses similar to mine. That was such a valuable asset to me.The roof instal was done in one day and the clean up was fantastic. A second crew even came by a couple days later to do additional clean up. When I pointed out that the garage was suppose to get a vent, ***** apologized and assured me he would get one up there and at no additional expense. To my surprise a guy showed up the next day and installed the vent. I was like, "wow". I was impressed with the honesty and integrity shown by ROOF ONE for seeing that was done before they got paid.I'm glad I found and used ROOF ONE and would easily recommend them to a friend or family member.

This review is about terrible customer service by **********************. Promises ignored, I was in ** when the work was due to be done. I was promised I progress photos to see damage and no photos we provided nor was I even informed that the work was underway and then completed. When I questioned what work was done when I was sent an invoice, I was given a huge run around about photos. After an afternoon of text messages and finally (amazingly) photos were found after I questioned whether payment should be withheld prior to confirming work had actually been done! Not questioning quality of work but horrible management and customer service. I hate to see how a warranty claim is handled - I cringe to image how this company would wiggle to escape any blame. My advice - find a different company!

Hi *****, we regret to see this review. Because you no longer own the home and are out of state, and although our typical process is to communicate directly with the homeowner, we communicated with both you and the new homeowner during this process. Our scope of work was completed in full, including replacing the gutter, roof decking, drip edge and shingles that were damaged with the truck during your moving process. We provided photos of each to both you and the new homeowner, and the work has been completed to their satisfaction. Thank you.

After reading the companys response several times, I must respond. This company never never communicated with me during the repairs. Their statement that they did such is totally false. I hate to say this but thats the flat honest truth. They promised to send in progress photos when I authorized the work, provided all my contact information and I was ignored. When I received an invoice and inquired when was the work done, I was stonewalled. Only after I indicated I would not pay the roof repair invoice did one inprogress image appear and Im assuming it an image of my roof. This should have been a simple process but this company wanted to argue with me rather than trying to fulfill their commitment. This is a sign of poor management and bodes poorly about the overall company. Sorry to have to respond but I cannot let false information continue
