    This company is extremely slow when it comes to processing documents and then blames it on dealership. I waited 3.5 months to get plates and registration. Trying to get straight answers was hard cause most of the time no one would answer phone calls. I'll never ever use them again.

    Purchased my RV May 2023. As of February **** I still have no license plates. Every time I call, something was done lat week. These people are a big Ponzi scam and dealerships need to quit using them.

    I don't know why any company/dealership would use this company! We purchased a motorhome through Good ***** and then they sent financing through Trident Funding who in turn sent registration paperwork to ********'s been nothing but a nightmare from day one! I had to do all the work sending them paperwork after paperwork that they "needed" and actually had. I had sent them everything they asked for. Dealt with them strictly through email and had a hard time getting responses. Even asked for a supervisor to call me several times which never happened. It's been over a month and I still don't have any paperwork and have had to cancel several vacations because of them. I could have walked into my local DMV the same day I purchased the motorhome, from a private party, and had it completed but no the finance company demanded that everything had to go to OPUS. PLEASE ANYONE WHO HAS TO USE A THIRD PARTY TO DO THE PAPERWORK FOR REGISTRATION PURPOSES ASK WHO IT IS AND IF ITS THIS PLACE REFUSE AND ASK THEM TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GIVE THEM 1 STAR.

    We have only used them for a month and yet it takes at least two months to get plates back and in some cases more. They constantly lie to you when you email or call them for an answer back as to where the plates are. I have often called there multiple times because they will not answer you back on their portal and they still dont pick up the phone or respond whatsoever. A transaction for a PA deal, when your dealership is in **, and a transfer no less should take less then a month, and yet it took over three to get it back and it was not even what the customer wanted. They processed it for a regular plate instead of a transfer and didn't care to fix their mistake. Very un-knowledgeable people who dont belong doing MV. Please don't give them a chance, they are the worst company and are very rude, and even hang up on you when all you want is a simple answer! ****** can do a better job!

    ******, I sent you a response via email and have copied the same one into the BBB portal. I want to personally apologize for the rude treatment during your phone call to our office. I just reviewed the voice recording and was appalled. I am at a loss as to why she acted in that manner as her training was very specific on how to treat customers and their requests. She will be terminated today as she clearly does not share our values and work ethic. I can only ask you to reconsider and not judge our company on a rogue employee.     If you are a dealership find another company to do your out of state work. They have overcharged on several occasions, getting a refund takes months (if you even get it). I'm currently losing my best customer because of their failure to get a truck registered for my customer. Most of the processors are brand new and have not been fully trained. To top it off they refuse to provide pertinent information on what DMV branch the paperwork was sent to.

    If there were an option for zero stars, that would be what I would rate this company. There are many reasons why they should NOT be allowed to be in business, especially one involving such important paperwork and money. We purchased a new vehicle from our dealership who sent the title work to this company to complete. To start, they mailed all of our title work and money for the taxes due to the wrong address. Thankfully the honest recipient of the file mailed it back to them. Next, when our local license bureau finally received the file, they discovered that Opus VTR had incorrectly figured the taxes. They had miscalculated the taxes by THOUSANDS of dollars. We then had to have them resend (for a third time) a corrected check in the corrected amount figured by our license bureau. This still left them OWING BACK the difference (thousands of dollars) they had miscalculated initially. When they were contacted regarding the refund they owed, they refused. In fact, they were abrasive and rude and hung up. This was after 4 months of going back and forth with them. In conclusion, NEVER use or allow your dealership to use OPUS VTR to process your title work. They are incompetent, unprofessional and should NOT be allowed to process title work or handle any sum of money.

    ****, thank you for your comments.  We reviewed your transaction and found the folllowing facts regarding your title and registration.  We understand you purchased the vehicle on 6/3/23.  Opus received the deal documents from the dealership on 7/13/23.  An Opus processor was assigned and reviewed the deal on 7/15/23.  The *********** received the documents for their final processing on 7/24/23.  Opus reached out to MO on 8/15/23 as the quoted check amount we provided was over the final amount due to **.  A replacement check was sent on 8/21/23 as Hickory County did not charge the quoted county taxes.  A refund was processed on 9/21/23 for the overage amount of $2,361.56.  We apologize for any misunderstanding during the out-of-state title process and would be happy to review and explain the process with a supervisor should you be interested.  Thank you,

    Bought a car and the dealership used Opus as the title/reg company. Purchased car last week of June 2022 and it is now January ********************************** plates. They first said that my states DMV was behind by a few months, but now they are caught up and still no info. I called back in December and they said more info was needed but that was all I got from them. I called and email the company everyday for the last 7 days but I have seemed to have been ghosted with no call/emails back.
