I have a reserved parking spot at an apartment complex, there is a contract with this towing company through the complex, and every time I call to have someone towed o ur of my reserved spot that I have because of my health issues they never show up. Im always given the we have anywhere from the time you call until 8am to come get the car or we have to get it approved by the dispatcher supervisor. Then they never show up. Out of the 10 times ive called since this company took over the towing for our complex they have not one time showed up to get anyone out of my spot for my or hardly anyone else here. And half of us or more have health issues that we pay for reserved spots for that specific reason.

We are unable to accept calls from residents. This is the policy of the City of ************. In order for us to be able to enforce the assignments made to you by your complex, a representative from the complex has to call in the violation and must be on scene to sign a tow authorization form as also required by the city. Feel free to take this up with the Bureau of Licensing and Permits with the city. Our hands are tied in this matter. I do apologize that we cannot assist but this policy is in place to prevent people from just having other peoples vehicles removed when not authorized.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

any other company that we have dealt with we have shown them out lease agreement, out parking permit that hangs in our car and they can approve it. What the point in guarenteeing us a reserved spot and offering to tow cars (most of the time after hours) when nobody is in the office to approve the tow then. Thats just a blatant excuse not to do your job that you are contracted for. I will be going to the office first then contacting the city over this. This is complete and utter ****.

      Regards,

Car got towed late Tuesday night. Called Thursday to see how much. $380.. this is price gouging. $35/day for storage , $175 tow fee and alien fee of $100. They charged a full day for Tuesday even though the car was in the lot for less than 2 hours Tuesday night. The lady that answers the phone is rude, no customer service skills at all.

This was a Police ordered impound for failure to have the vehicle properly registered.  The storage is based on calendar days for municipally impounded vehicles.  We had no control over the amount of time this person chose to leave the vehicle in our control.  Due to the fact that her car was here over 3 days we were legally obligated to send certified mail to all parties involved which in this case meant sending a letter to ****************************** as they still have a lien on this vehicle.  There is nothing charged incorrectly on this vehicle and I am not prepared to change the amount as we were not negligent in our duties that we performed for the **************************.

I asked to see the contract that you have with the ************************** and it wasnt available . Even the police department said that the price I was given didnt sound right.
Most 20 somethings just dont have an extra $400 laying around to get a car out of impound. She had to wait until she got paid. Thats why it had to sit for a couple days.
according to this site as well as ****** and yelp reviews, zores never takes responsibility for ripping people off.
we had the title for the car. That was Indiana finance error.

I had a truck towed to Zores for repairs on September 3rd as they had confirmed they could do the repairs. They held my vehicle for almost a month, and we had a quote from an inspector and the insurance company for the repairs. After no communication for multiple weeks, I was called by ******* and was told they could not do the repairs despite telling me they could do the repairs, and holding my vehicle with no communication. I went with a mechanic to drive the truck out of their parts department lot on Saturday October 8th, but found out that the steering wheel column was broke and the truck was not driveable. I called ******* and explained the situation on Tuesday October 11th, and told her that I would tow the truck out of there and she confirmed that I could do that. I showed up on October 18th with a tow truck and they had impounded my vehicle in their own lot and charged me $440 to get my truck out of their lot. They had never given me a specific date that the vehicle had to be out of their lot, I received no follow up from ******* or anyone else at Zores after my phone call with them on the 11th, and after arriving and finding out about my vehicle being impounded, ******* refused to speak to me, and I was sent from one employee to the other with no explanation. One employee said that in their notes it said I was told many times to get my vehicle out of their lot, which is untrue. My phone records show my outgoing call to Zores on October 11th with no incoming calls from Zores after that, and I cannot find any incoming call from Zores within a week prior to my October 11th call to them where ******* told me that picking the vehicle up would be fine. I request to be reimbursed my $440 for the impounding of my vehicle.

I have been involved with this vehicle from the beginning as it was dropped in our parts lot with no notice.  Three days went by before the owner of this vehicle even came forward to identify the truck or ownership.  He informed my employees that his vehicle had been stolen and that he needed an estimate.  ******* wrote an initial estimate for him even though we no longer take on outside work in our body shop.  The owner of the vehicle waited another week to come in.  ******* informed him that we would NOT repair this vehicle because it exceeded the 75% threshold for damages.  At this time he was informed to remove the vehicle as it was sitting by our front door.  The owner of this vehicle came in and tried to get it operational but was unable.  After another week goes by I had ******* reach out to the owner and tell him that the vehicle would be impounded as abandoned.  He came in AGAIN and attempted repairs but still did NOT remove it from our property.  This vehicle was then impounded for both being unauthorized and as abandoned in an area that impeded my normal business.  This was on 10/12/2022 and the owner did not come to get it until yesterday on 10/18/2022.  I will not refund the fees for the impound because contrary to his story he has been in constant communication regarding the vehicle being subject to impound.  I absolutely gave him adequate time to remove this vehicle from our property.
