Spent over $4500 on engine plus new parts from Quality Automotive biggest stupidest mistake of my life. The motor had no power made a lot of ticking noise took back every 3 months Jasper and Quality Automotive did nothing to make it right so don't be fooled by Jasper having good rebuilds stay as far away as possible look for 5-7 year no fault warranties from good reliable honest rebuilders and find a good honest shop to do the works. I called Jasper directly with the receipt they do not give a crap about there quality there customers. I pleaded with them is there anything you can do to help me out I need a new motor the customer service rep practically laughed. JASPER IS NOT A GOOD RELIABLE REBUILDER, don't be fooled like I was.

Purchased a replacement 5.7l HEMI Engine for my 2013 Ram 1500 at 101,000 miles. At 128,000 miles or 27,000 Miles on replacement engine, I noticed extreme oil consumption. Took back to my mechanic and he varified the extreme oil usage. They contacted Jasper and wanted a new replacement engine. After some hagling, Jasper said they were having some issues with the valve seals on that particular model engine. They sent my mechanic the improved valve seals and reimbursed them the installation cost. Although, not at the hourly rate they normally charge. So I was without my truck for about two weeks. I now have 61,000 on the remanufactured engine and it is doing fine so far. It is warranted for 100,000 miles or 3 years. So i'm statisfied that they stood behind their product. My mechanic is still kinda of upset that they did not just replace the engine or pay their mormal rate, but all in all in worked out in the end.

Very very angry, our remanufactured engine from these people threw a rod at 33,000 miles, 4 1/2 years later so they won’t touch it! I wouldn’t want another one of their crap engines again anyway! That engine should have lasted a lot longer than that...we are now out $6000 for engine and labor!!! They are not putting out quality workmanship ... I will tell my mechanic he should never buy from them again! I wish we had checked them out before he bought from them! ??????????

1 STAR is to many! Like many others I purchased a replacement transmission from Jasper and the warranty. Well less than 1200 miles later, most of the miles getting home from two different dealerships. Transmission is shot. Only to find out that yes even with the additional coverage that I purchased on the labor I will still be paying about $60 an hour out of my pocket for the replacement of the new transmission because the original one sent was crap. Typical, they do anything they can to avoid covering their sub par workmanship. Spend the extra money and purchase from a company that stands behind their product. Jasper is not that company! DO NOT BUY from JASPER. Crappy product and even worse customer service. Run as fast as you can if the shop recommends a Jasper product!

We have been dealing with Jasper since August of 2022. We ordered an engine core for our truck, received it, installed it and it lasted 29 miles. The truck was towed to our GMC dealer to confirm it had blown a rod. We contacted Jasper and they sent another engine core out and the defective one was shipped back to them. The dealer installed the engine core. This one lasted 989 miles. At this point we have lost all faith in Jasper Engines. In talking to customer service they will not refund us our money unless we pull the defective engine out and ship it back to them and they will send us yet another engine core we don’t want, plus we would have to pay labor costs to pull the defective engine. They are asking too much of the customer and not being held accountable for their inferior products. It’s time for the DOJ to step in, especially after reading complaints one right after the other with the same exact issue. We are an elderly couple on a limited income and this has been a financial burden. We will be filing a complaint with the DOJ. This needs to stop. I believe any of the 5-Star ratings on here are written by people who work at Jasper trying to bring their rating up. Terrible company! Don’t buy anything from them.

Zero stars is acceptable for this company. The mechanic I brought my 2014 jeep wrangler to said I needed to replace the engine. The shop purchased the engine from Jasper and they sent a faulty engine. Had to wait a month to get my vehicle back. Picked up my vehicle and drove it a little over 200 hundred miles and was having problems. Took it back to the shop and was told the engine needed to be replaced again. I could not believe it. Now we are awaiting the 3rd engine. I called Jasper to speak with them about the situation and it became clear that they don’t really care because it’s under warranty and they just send out another engine. It’s been 2 months and I still don’t have my vehicle. Jasper has yet to send a workable engine. I’ve lost a considerable amount of time on this situation and have received nothing in return. It’s unbelievable that a company could still be in business after that track record. I’m not convinced that the engine they are currently sending out will even last.

I purchased a 6.4 diesel engine for my 2008 F250 Superduty. Within 6 months, the engine had a catastrophic failure due to piston damage. The engine sat at the repair shop for two months before it was replaced. Cost to me for repair as they only cover labor for diagnostics and engine replacement. Engine replaced and it lasted maybe 6 months again. Engine damage from timing components ate into water jacketing causing water in oil. Engine replaced. Bill, same as before. Cost to me to replace. Engine lasted about a year. Engine failure again. Thrust bearing broken. Fragments on the oil pan and top of engine. I called Jasper the day it happened and they said I was still under warranty. Truck sat at repair yard for over a month. Jasper said that I was out of warranty but they would still replace it as it was under warranty. I have to pay the full replacement this time to the repair shop and then Jasper will diagnose my issue and see it they will warranty it or not. Jasper sells a cheap product. It doesn’t matter that it is covered under warranty. In reality, it should cost the consumer $1 to perform these repairs. It isn’t our fault that your engine builds are poor and that your engines perform poorly. We have to pay for taking the cabs off of the trucks for repair which isn’t cheap in itself. Some parts have to be replaced every time they are taken apart. Again, not our fault. If oil happens to circulate around the components and damage per si, the injectors or the turbo, it is in the consumer to replace those items. The oil and filter and other consumables, the same. We have to pay for them. If your engine damages other items in my truck, you say you aren’t responsible. How is that? I wish I had never spent money on your product. It has cost me way more than what you pay for labor, actually quadruple what you pay per n labor. As far as I’m concerned, y’all are conartists and this act should be criminal. You should pay for the whole ****** thing.

Horrible I purchased a 6.2 motor it lasted 45 seconds and thru a rod they send another engine and it lasted 15 mins and started knocking had the proof it was there fault but they refuse to honor the labor claims so I’m out the 6,000.00 for the engine plus 4,000.00 in labor they teally need to do the right thing

Purchased a Jeep engine 2 weeks ago from Jasper engines, have about 200 miles on engine. Hot idle oil pressure has dropped gradually from 15 psi down to 8 psi. Min hot pressure limit is 13 psi by the factory Serv manual. Oil pressure was confirmed was a slaved gauge to Referee the car dash gauge. It seems like Jasper engines just took a return core engine and painted the case then sent it out to the next customer. Horrible quality control by Jasper engines in spite of all the ***. hype they put out. BEWARE , Do NOT buy from Jasper engines. One pissed off customer!
