If I could leave negative stars I would - I have never been more frustrated and disappointed by a product and company. We had done extensive research before selecting Awara and would've been better lighting our money on fire. The mattress started sinking after about 6 months. After less than 1 year you could physically see the mattress sinking in the middle but also this tilt at the end of the bed. We rotated it and it didn't help - same problem happened almost immediately. Finally after 2 years, our bodies physically couldn't handle the pain inflicted by this bed. We had a warranty- the warranty company was completely AI generated. We were only allowed to load 2 pictures - we had plenty more to show the issues and would've appreciated discussing with a human. After the AI's 30 second review of our claim, we were immediately denied. We purchased a new bed and it's a night and day difference. Needless to say, I have never been so enraged. I strongly discourage purchasing an Awara mattress.Awara Sleep

My wife and I spent a lot of time trying to find an eco-friendly mattress. When we finally thought we found one that we could afford with Awara we were excited for our first new mattress in over a decade. When the mattress came, I looked at the tag and noticed it saidthe mattress was made with over 50% synthetic material. We feel scammed. Nowhere in their website does it say that they use polyester and they show all their certificates and boast their natural and organic materials. When I contacted the company representative seemed surprised that it was that high and took a very long time to confirm with a supervisor. When I asked them for their certification numbers, so I could check it on the certification websites they refused to give it to me. It further supports the fact that they are false advertising for eco-friendliness. They did offer to take the mattress back and said they would donate it to a shelter, but at this point, they’ve lied so much I’m afraid it would just end up in a landfill.Awara Sleep

I cannot stress enough how dissatisfied I am with both the Awara mattress and their so-called “100% waterproof” mattress protector. What started as an attempt to invest in our health and comfort turned into a painful ordeal, both physically and financially.
After seven worsening, painful months of sleeping on the Awara mattress, my partner and I were in constant discomfort. We both experienced severe back pain that grew progressively worse over time. It became clear that the mattress lacked the necessary support for proper spinal alignment, leaving us waking up more exhausted and sore than when we went to bed. Finally, we reached our limit and had no choice but to return the mattress and spend more money on a better-quality, supportive option from a different brand.
The disappointment didn’t stop there. The mattress came with a protector that is advertised repeatedly on their website as “100% waterproof.” To our frustration, it has failed us twice, most recently allowing an accident from our potty-training toddler to leak through onto our less-than-a-year-old mattress that we love dearly. Despite the claim that the protector is “100% waterproof,” it clearly does not live up to that promise. When I contacted the company, they dismissed my concerns, pointing out that only the mattress is covered by a warranty—not the protector. This feels incredibly deceptive. If a product is marketed multiple times as “100% waterproof,” it should perform as such without exception.
Adding insult to injury, Awara doesn’t even allow me to leave a review on their website. I hope those of you reading this on the BBB website will learn from my mistake. Avoid Awara at all costs and save yourself the frustration, discomfort, and expense. Instead, I urge you to consider My Green Mattress, a brand that has exceeded our expectations and delivered the comfort and quality Awara only pretends to offer.Awara Sleep

Terrible customer service and the warranty is not legitimate. We had our mattress fail (over 2" of sagging on both sides) within 4 years of the warranty period. They had us send several rounds of photos including measurements to multiple customer service reps, then refused to do anything, citing that the mattressbwas 'too stained'.
We have one two inch stain in a completely different location that is unrelated to the structural integrity of the mattress that somehow made it though the protector we've had on it since we purchased it. We are not overweight and there's no reason other than a defective product that would have caused this to happen. It wasn't mentioned after the first round of photos, just an excuse and a waste of time for us as we kept having to strip our bed and stage various photos for them. We won't be purchasing another Awara, as their warranty is a joke. They could have at least given us a credit to offset the lost warranty period, but they offered nothing.Awara Sleep

The mattress strikes the perfect balance between softness and firmness. Awara is definitely a smart investment! It does have a weird bouncy-ness to it that takes some getting used to. After I got used to it, I really started to love it.Awara Sleep

I purchased an Awara Sleep King bed, frame, and a 120 month warranty in October of 2021. The mattress started to sag in January of this year, at just three years old. The frame broke in one corner and it was showing signs of wear and I contacted Awara regarding a replacement. They refused to replace the frame or mattress despite their “lifetime” warranty on the mattress. The frame has a three year warranty but they refused to cover that as well. They told to contact M******* as the warranty I bought from Awara was handled by M*******. When I contacted M******* regarding coverage of the aforementioned, and I was informed by their customer service that they were never paid by Awara for the warranty I bought and paid Awara for. The terms of my purchase were fraudulent and not fulfilled per my original agreement, thus nullifying that purchase. I contacted Awara requesting a refund and they refused. I do not recommend purchasing products from them as they do not follow through with their terms. I am now out $2300 and all I have to show for it is a broken frame and a sagging mattress.Awara Sleep

I bought a King size Awara mattress from Awarasleep.com in January 2022, and financed it interest-free through Affirm from the Awara website. Although it wasn't quite the full dimensions of a King size bed, we were happy with the way it felt to sleep. It began developing a substantial dip on my husband's side of the bed and started causing him to have a backache. The pain became substantial enough that we had to buy another mattress. Awara said we did not purchase our bed from them and would not honor the warranty. I have spent around 5 hours dealing with Awara between useless phone calls and chats, before coming to this review. According to the warranty (regardless of where it was bought), the dip has to be 1.5" which ours is at least that deep. But they claim we did not buy it from them. It was during Covid and we weren't about to go into a store to buy a bed! We have the mattress and all the documentation of payment to Affirm. Affirm has looked into and said we bought it from Awara. BEWARE: This company is scamming people into thinking it will give them a replacement for a defective product, when it denies that they even sold it to them! In the end, this will have cost us several hundred dollars with no recourse!Awara Sleep

Absolutely Awful. Aware, or also known as Resident Home, do not care about their customers. I have called, I have emailed them with no response as to why we have never received our mattress. From the moment you order, it is dead silent with customer service being non-existent. If you go to other review sites like consumer affairs, you will see they have a 1 star rating from multiple customers. I will never order from this company again and I am disputing the charges to my card.Awara Sleep
