    Called a LEBANON Indiana number on a Saturday morning, was hooked up to a NATIONAL Roto Rooter phone center instead, where the tech wanted my zip code, which I provided. The tech stated that plumbers in KOKOMO ******* (which is over an hour distance from my home) are responsible for servicing my area. I emphasized that I called a LEBANON Indiana number and that ******* was a mere 17 minutes from my home. The call center woman insisted KOKOMO plumbers with RR are responsible for servicing my area and were ALREADY in my area (obviously they weren't) and that in fact an opening was available at that time. She then connected me to the KOKOMO office, and my husband spoke with the office person there so that he could explain better the issue we were having. Turns out there was NOT an available open appointment just then, one wouldn't be available for three hours forward with a two hour window. With the last three minutes of that two hour window counting down and the plumber not calling or appearing, I called to find out what was going on and was told he was delayed and given another later two arrival window. When PAST that window he STILL hadn't arrived or called, I called the office to cancel (after being told by THAT call center *** that the plumber was just a "little"delayed).Then MUCH MUCH later the plumber himself called saying he had been busy working at a hospital but would come to service our problem that night(at that point nearly 10 pm) or would arrive between 12-2 pm the next day Sunday. Well he didn't show up on Sunday nor call to explain why. Obviously a revenge dig move to have us wait uselessly for what was always going to be another no show and his way to get back at us for having cancelled his first late/no show and us having the gall to complain about it. The national management of this company obviously follows the worst of the worst concepts of gerrymandering franchise distribution and the franchisees don't give a thought to customer service.

    I called on Sunday 2/5/23 to make a appointment for root removal from my sewer line. The 1st technician came out on Monday 2/6/23 but couldn't do the job by himself because the equipment was too heavy for him to get into the basement. So the next day Tuesday 2/7/23 2 technician and there supervisor showed up. They got the equipment to the basement and ran the snake through the clean out. Then ran a camera though the line. The supervisor came up and informed me that the line had 2 points of collapse. I could not make out the video that supposedly showed the collapses so I took his word for it. Then he told me that in order to replace the 15 foot of bad line and put in a new clean out it would cost close to $9000.00 .I told him that we could not afford that he insisted that if we don't have the work done we could not flush our toilet with out causing a problem. Then he suggested we finance it. So we started on the loan process on his phone. After he left I had been keeping my wife in the loop so she called the insurance company to see if they would pay any. They told us we need 2 estimates. So we informed Roto Rooter that that we need a copy of their estimate (which we never received) so got 2 others 1 was $1,100.00 and the other was $2,000.00 based on the problem RR said we had. We went with the **** one. They came and dug up the line and inspected 20 ft and found no collapse. They put in a outside clean out removed the tree that was causing the problem all for $750.00.A *****% markup is not good. I would recommend if you have water issues get anybody but Roto Rooter.
