    I was parked in a lot with no clearly posted signs, Or any signs at all, saying it was either private property or there was a towing at the owners expense. My car has been towed with 0 notice and I must pay 185 dollars cash. The business does not accept debit or credit which is required

    Dear Talon *********;

                This response is in reference to complaint 23223121.

    The lot that you were towed from is ****************************************************************** The property owner/manager has an active contract with Nyes Wrecker Service, **** to provide patrolling of their properties and immediately tow away any vehicles that do not have a valid parking pass in the front windshield. This parking pass is issued by the management company to tenants.Unauthorized vehicles are not allowed to park in this parking lot due to space limitations and the need to ensure tenants have ample parking spaces available.

    Signage on this property is located on the building, and at various points at the entrance to the lots. Occasionally these signs have come up missing or stolen; as a company we do regular patrols and not which signs will need to be replaced and replace them within one week. My drivers have reported that as of Friday March 18th, 2025 two signs were missing from this lot. These signs are scheduled to be replaced Tuesday March 19th, ************* management is supposed to also do daily checks and notify us if signage is missing and/or damaged. The State of Indiana at this time to our knowledge does not have regulations on the positioning and requirement of towing signs on private property.

    According to Federal Law as understood by our company, as of the time of writing this response, businesses are allowed to determine what forms of payment they will accept. This includes decisions to accept cash,check, coinage, or credit/debit card. Our company policy is that we do not accept debit or credit cards for impounded vehicles. This has been our company policy for the past five years at least. We do accept debit or credit cards for other services such as towing, and service calls. In speaking with my dispatchers on duty both affirmed that you were notified of this policy.

    If you have any questions or concerns I encourage you to contact our office directly at ************. Either myself (******** ******) or our owners **** *** and **** ***** will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have.

    Sincerely,

    ******** ******

    I had multiple things stolen from my vehicle while my truck was under their supervision. They refused to refund me. They also threatened to leave my truck in the middle of the road because I wouldnt pay over $400 when we agreed on $125 (I have the receipt to prove it)

    We were asked to jump start a **** F350.  It would not start.  The customer could not leave it in the lot it was in.  We towed it to our storage lot.  There was some confusion about how much the jump start and the tow would be but we accepted that he did not understand what we said and agreed with the $125.00 that he thought was the correct price.  He told us he would have it towed in 5 days to ****** and agreed with the price of $400.00 if we would not charge him any daily storage. After 5 days, not only did he not have us tow it to Kokomo, he refused to pay any storage.  We had 2 hours in the jump start and towing a large truck, numerous phone calls and didn't collect any storage.  Because he was not having us tow the truck to ******, refused to pay storage and was abusive on the phone, he was told that if he didn't remove the truck from our lot, we would move it to the street.           He never said anything about "multiple things stolen from my vehicle".  We have cameras and lights in our lot.  We have not had any complaints from any other customer about things being taken.  I would like to know what these multiple things are.
