A White Radian Vortex was purchased for me by **** ********* in 2024 and shipped directly to my address (it was well over $300 purchase). The hair dryer was a gift for my birthday. I still have the original box. From the date of original purchase there were times the dryer would not work. Sometimes it just would not power on. It was as if the fuse was off. Then I would try it the next day and it would work fine. I figured it had an over-heating issue or just a glitch.Within the last couple weeks, I was using it at it made a LOUD POP. It has never turned on again since. The hair dryer was only ever used on the front portion of my hair - my bangs and around my face - minimal use and on medium heat only. I immediately reached out to the customer service email address and have done so four times in the last two weeks. NO ONE HAS RESPONDED TO ME. They claim to have a 24/7 customer service email (no phone number, just this email address); yet, NO ONE RESPONDS. All I want is my hair dryer replaced!!!! People should not spend this kind of money on DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND HAVE NO SUPPORT! I want to be able to speak to someone about this product and have a company that stands behind a product they charge so much money for. ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS THAT THE PRODUCT IS SO POORLY MADE AND THE COMPANY TREATS IT'S CLIENT BASE LIKE THIS. NO WONDER THEY HAVE AN "F" RATING.Customer Answer

The RADIAN hair dryer was purchased by **** ********* **************) as a gift for me using **** ending in 4834. He purchased it directly from the company website and had it shipped to my home: ************************************** *********************. I received it Sept. 20, 2023. He was unable to locate a receipt or email; however, he said that because he purchased it with his credit card but had it shipped to me, and I have the original box, the company should be able to track the purchase by his name and my shipping address.
We identified the purchase time period as September *****, 2023; and yes, it should have been under warranty. These hair dryers are $300 plus. To not even offer a CUSTOMER SERVICE department to help consumers. Theres no WAY this thing should have done what it did with as LITTLE USE as it got from me in a year and a couple months. I explained in my emails to THEM, I mostly let my hair dryer naturally. I have FINE hair and only use low heat and blow dry the hair around my face only - the bangs and cheek area - the contours of my face. The bulk of my hair drys naturally. So the dryer is used under five minutes on medium heat, medium speed.
The filter was checked - NEVER clogged, never dirty. ZERO reason for it to POP and never come back on unless it was defective.

I purchased this blow dryer on Oct 2, 2023 with my debit card. After I received the blow dryer I tried it and did not care for it. The hottest air setting is not all that hot and the lowest fan speed is not low enough from other blow dryers I have used. My hair is thin and when i used this blow dryer it just knots up my hair because of the fan speed slowest speed is like any other blow dryers med. to high speed. This was suppose to be money back guaranteed. When I have tried to contact them through email I just get back either and email that says someone will contact you or I did not order and to go and place and order. They have no number to call. I have reached out four times to the **************** on the site. The only response I received was you will be contacted within 24 hours. I was never contacted. I even sent a certified letter to their address (************************************************** but it came back "return to Sender- Unclaimed- unable to forward. I am missing the flyaway attachment, which was the most important one to me. It was order #**** and it was delivered to me on 7/14/2023. I received the Radian Vortex hair dryer as a Mothers Day gift in May 2023. It ceased working in August 2023. I attempted to contact the business on August 19, 2023 to find out how to get a replacement or refund for an obviously defective product but only receive an automated response advising that they will respond within 24 hours. It has now been ******************************************************************************************************************** to wait 24 hours with no follow up. I purchased the Radian Vortex hairdryer in April of 2023 for the price of $220. The product worked great for 2 months, at which point it stopped working altogether. I've attached correspondence regarding the purchase of the products, which includes invoice dated May 17, 2023. On July 4, the product died on me, I reached out to Radian on July 4th & 6th, regarding the status of my request and have not heard a word. On July 15, 2023, I requested a return and have not received a response. I reached again on July 23 and still no response. My issue is that one, I have not received a response and two that I'm required to continue paying Affirm through installments of $37.73 per month until the $219.95 is paid. I've reached out to Affirm and they informed that they cannot help me because it's been over 60 days of purchase. This has been extremely frustrating since I can only contact Radian through email. There is no phone number to speak with them directly. I would like a refund on the amount that I paid and know how I can return the product. I received the product on May 12, 2023 and it only worked for 11 days. I have tried repeatedly to get ahold of the company without success. Their website says I dont have an order no. and wont let me proceed. My order number is ****. They dont list a phone number so the website is my only option and I just get the runaround on it! The website return process is very straightforward and streamlined. We have an email to reach out to in case more support is required. This customer had reached out via email, which was promptly responded to with further instructions for order verification. The form we sent was never completed, and the only other information we received about this issue was this complaint. To resolve the complaint, I have just refunded the customer. The customer has been fully refunded.
