      We feel like ******** ******** ******** in Dodge City Kansas is using their position as the only Residential Trash Service in our area to not provide quality and dependable trash service. We are long-time customers of ******** and pay in a timely manner. As of Friday, January 5, 2024 - it has been 2 weeks or more since our trash has been picked up. That is unacceptable for a family of 6 and especially around the holidays. We understand regular service may be interrupted for a short period of time but 2 weeks is too long. Their website states that if trash service falls on the holiday, your trash will be picked up the next business day. Which we are well past that for Christmas and New Year's. We called ******** on January 2, 2024, inquiring when our trash would be picked up. They indicated Thursday, January 4th or Friday, January 5th they would be out to pick-up our trash, which was not ideal but acceptable. They did not show up either day and our trash is overflowing. We called them on Friday, January 5th and it was indicated they would be out on Monday January 8, 2024. This is unacceptable as the weather is forecasted to be blizzard conditions therefore blowing our overflowing trash all over. We tried to call back around 4pm on Friday January 5, 2024, and the company refused to answer their phone. I left a voicemail and have not heard back and entered comments through their online portal and still no response. We are asking BBB to step in and hold them accountable to their contract to pick up our trash and give us a month free on our bill. We feel like they have a monopoly on our area in SWKS and that they don’t need to abide by their contract for the service we pay for. Please hold ******** ******** ******** accountable and help us resolve this matter so in the future they will honor their contract with their customers in a timely manner.

      I understand the frustration that you are explaining. We are not however taking use of a position in any way. We are a business that made a mistake on the return pick up, experienced truck break down on route, and then had 2 weeks of blizzard, now mud. The driver ended up getting stuck on the attempted to return and it was stuck so bad the tow company did not get it pulled out until Monday the following week costing $2500. We will not risk safety in order to get trash picked up, in care of our employees health and those that are on the roads with us. We have no issues crediting you a month on your account for the missed pick-up, I also looked into your account and there already is a credit on the account for a month. We had a swing driver covering the normal drivers route for the 2 weeks of Christmas and New Years which explains the initial miss. Again, I apologize for the miss, there is a credit on your account, and we have issued several credit due to not being able to service because of the blizzard and -30 degree temperatures. I have also attached pictures of our GPS tracking of us picking up this location the last 3 weeks. I apologize for the weather and delay in getting the missed pick up dumped. According to our record we have been providing you service since the bad weather.
