      I give them no stars. I have been to them in the past but they have become horrible. After my eye exam I was told I needed a new pair of glasses. While ordering the glasses they said my insurance would not pay for no-line glasses and I would have to pay $284. They also tried to force me to sign a paper. This after charging my credit card for the $284. I refused to sign the paperwork and walked out.
      Since they had changed my credit card I assumed that the order would go through.
      They played games with me for 3 weeks telling me, and I quote, "it's been ordered, but we're waiting for it to get here. " They acted as though they really did search and it was going to come. They also said they would "call me right back." Of course I always had to call them.
      Today they finally admitted that the glasses were never ordered. They claimed that they refunded me the $284, but I verified with my credit card company that there was no sign of EyeDoctors actually attempting to refund me. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company, and am awaiting resolution.

      My husband has been going to The Eye Doctors at 28th and Wanamaker for years. He brings in a script from his ophthalmologist with progressive lens and has bought 3 or more different frames over the years. He had problems with the last 2 pair and came in several times for adjustments because the bifocal part was too high for him to be able to see to drive. Your staff adjusted the ear piece around the ears each time. His vision was getting worse, not better. He complained to his private ophthalmologist again who referred him to an optometrist in the same office. He could tell immediately that adjustments needed to be made to the front of the frame that held the lens not the ear piece. The lens needed to be angled downward and recommended a different eye glasses store. The person there made the correct adjustment in 5 mins and my husband can see well to drive now! He didn't need a new prescription or frames! We are never going back to The Eye Doctors and want to alert others with similar problems.

      Terrible service. The office in North Topeka rarely answers their phones. They code services incorrectly causing a billing nightmare. I’ve been trying to resolve a disputed charge of $59 for the last year without any resolution. I will be switching to another provider entirely.
