1 starRUDE, they only cared about the "other" sales items Like their Advantage package, etc. They really talk about that "bird poop protection" and "nitrogen filled tire" $1999 package.. (BTW - you don't have to buy, it is not "already on the car") small print or not..
They have no knowledge of the vehicles in their lot
I could not get an inspection report. I finally did get a 3rd party inspection (I paid for) and found out the vehicle 2023 Mazda CX5 (which Carfax report said minor damage) was severely damaged underneath and severely rusted! Back hatch rusted through on the corners. Only the bumper and fender had been changed. No repairs to the actual wreck of the car. There was a "keyless entry malfunction" error, I was told it was a battery issue by the salesperson but the inspection report stated it was a system error. The OEM key fobs of my test drive were changed out for after market ones (several hundred dollar swap), when they thought I was ready to purchase. They also use that "buyers fatigue" tactic. Try to wear you down so you just want to buy so you can leave. JUST LEAVE!
I did not purchase. Went to another dealership (in Lawrence) and found out what a Reputable Dealership experience was like. Purchased my vehicle there.
Read other reviews from other sites. I wish I had. Horrible experience. I am just glad I did not spend a dime there.
Good luck on your car journey if you are reading this. Buying a car can be exciting or anxiety driven, it turned out ok for me, but I had to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I felt like a valuable customer at the next dealership I went to. Less than 3 miles away. Loved them!!!!
That is my experience. If they pressure you to where you feel uncomfortable. WALK AWAY!! You deserve better when making this kind of purchase. GOOD LUCK!!Review fromJonathan H.

1 starWhere do I begin? After 4 months of trying to finalize a contract for my wife's vehicle, I’m currently on hold—again—trying to find someone at this company who knows what’s going on. No one does. They’ve all been fired. And im in my third loaner car from them to this day.
If you’re thinking of doing business with this place, turn around and run. This was the most unprofessional, unorganized, and incompetent experience I’ve ever had.
My wife and I began the buying process on December 17th, 2024 with Gabe and Jeremy. Gabe was useless, so Jeremy, the GM at the time, stepped in and helped us. He was great and made my wife feel comfortable. But when we picked up the car days later, Jeremy wasn’t there, and the car had a leaking door, no mats, and mismatched tires. We brought it back the next morning. Jeremy was apologetic and embarrassed.
It was Christmas week, so he gave us a rental while the car was being fixed. We didn’t hear back for over a month. When they finally called, it wasn’t about our car—they needed to swap the rental because they couldn’t find it in their system. Oh, and Jeremy had been fired.
In late January, they swapped our rental, left a spare key at my apartment, and we waited another month before they contacted us again—this time to say the new rental had already been sold. They gave us our car back, unfixed. A random young guy showed up unannounced to swap cars and had no clue about our situation. I filmed the entire experience.
I called Makayla while he was there, and she also had no idea what was going on, but promised us a final rental while repairs were completed. That was February 27th. She no longer works there. No one has called since.
We still have no contract, no title, and can’t register the vehicle. Jose from finance just told me they’ve been looking for “lost” cars at the dealership.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.Review fromJulia H

1 starOur experience AT the dealership was wonderful. Jacob was excellent at answering our questions and helping us out. The problem is the finance department. It has been over a month and we still do not have clear information on when the LOAN is going to be serviced, which means we do not have the information to properly and legally title our vehicle. We have been texted reminders but no calls have been made to us when we have called and left voicemails. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. If you deal with the sales people you will be in luck as they are lovely. But I hope you headed my warning- do not finance through them. They will jerk you around for a month and you will still not be taken care off. We got a text asking for a picture of our BANKING information so that they can send it over. Ridiculous.Review fromNathan G

1 starWorst experience I'm still experiencing in purchasing a vehicle. I'm 40 I never been treated like this. Felt like I was being pressured into something I do not want. Didn't even get to test drive or personally inspect vehicle before a $2,500 deposit. ($10,800) - $2500 should be $8,300 for vehicle. Financed for $18,000+ for vehicle I don't have. 09/09/24 2017 Kia Soul Plus. Sent home with no paperwork and loaner vehicle had missing headlight and check engine light on. I work third shift. didn't get vehicle till the 11th. Saturday 14th vehicle shows engine control system error message on touch screen. Automated voice tells me to schedule appointment. Insurance company call asked if I was in an accident. Which I wasn't. Check engine light on. I call sales rep no answer been on phone since Saturday addressing issue. I'm so stressed I haven't eaten and causing family problems. They say they will call me back never do. Tow truck picks up vehicle on the 16th about 3:30 p.m.. Was promised another loaner vehicle would be in my driveway before I go to work. Nick would personally take care of this matter himself. I explained I live on a tight budget and that I can't miss work. Woke up no vehicle missed work. They tell me one thing nothing happens. I'm not happy. Coworkers making fun of me. I feel terrible and I'm still dealing with this. Had me in tears on the phone. Thought I heard laughter in the background. I don't know I have no idea what to do. Still don't have my vehicle. Finance company wants their money. I haven't even made the first payment. Car odometer says I drove 96 MI. Insurance app says it's 60 something. Nothing's adds up. I could possibly be fired and lose everything that I have going for me. I don't know what to do it's 7:00 a.m. Tuesday the 17th. I have pictures emails text messages but don't know if I can do anything. Hate my life right now. Nervous shaking haven't eaten. I Need help and what to do.Review fromKeith S

1 starDoesn't deserve any stars, but to get through 1 minus 1 = 0. A trade in gone wrong.
Worked out a deal or what I thought was a deal. Finance guy showed me #s which would of been final price. He said it was over $2k over payoff of my trade in. Thought this would do..... never did he show me the "final" price of $34k. He only showed the $28k. If I was shown the $34k end price. The deal wouldn't of happened. When I called to cancel the deal. Cause I haven't picked up the truck. I was told no. I called the finance bank on this truck. The payoff hadn't went through. Like the finance guy said. That bank said this dealership could cancel & it would be like the deal never happened. But they wouldn't do it. I called & left messages. No reply.. I had to turn in my vehicle cause when I seen balance was 0. A week & half later. During that time the deal could have been erased. But they want #s on vehicles sold. To make themselves look like the best dealership out there. It's no wonder why they couldn't make it in the KC area. Only can stay in business in Lawrence/Topeka areas. Avoid this dealership it'll save you the headaches. Bunch of pushers & liarsReview fromAaron W

1 starMy brother and I were out car shopping and ended up here. We looked on the lot and saw an F-150 that we really liked and took it for a test drive. The first salesman was respectful and fine, but he was new and not very knowledgeable. When we returned from the test drive we asked what kind of lease deal they could put together on that truck. (We were pretty adamant during the test drive that financing wasn't really what we wanted. The manager came over and asked a bunch of questions about leasing which indicated to me he didn't really understand how leasing worked at all. He then said leasing was bad right now and the monthly payment would be high. We said that's fine, show us the number. What he came back with as a number was so ridiculous, my brother and I sat there dumbfounded for a minute. On an F150 with an MSRP of **k, we were quoted a monthly payment of $**** per month for 36 months When you total the payments up its $****** over 36 months. Which is **k over MSRP. I promptly told the manager that offer was ridiculous. The manager didn't even write the offer down on paper, which also seemed shady. He also got uptight and told us that we shouldn't sit there insinuating that he doesn't know how to do his job. After they tried to shift us to financing, we promptly thanked them for wasting their time and left.
I left a google review that explained this situation. the owner replied and doubled down and said that they offer was legit and he would be happy to show us the how they got there. I then replied that I had found better equipped trucks with a lease payment of less than half what they quoted me at other dealers in KC. They deleted their response and my bad review. People deserve to know how crazy dealer was. Please look elsewhere if you are looking for a vehicle. Or at least stick with the used department. They are much more knowledgeable and friendly.Review fromScott V

1 starI brought a damaged tire to Laird Noller for warranty replacement and the staff did not know how to open a warranty claim with their vender. They lied to me and said they called the manufacturer and teh tire was not covered under warranty. I called the manufacturer and had a warranty claim opened within 20 minutes. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Laird Noller because they cannot support the customer and clearly have a problem with being honest.Review fromAudrey B

2 starsI bought my car two years ago and immediately discovered an issue with the electrical system that is potentially dangerous, especially that it happens in the rain. I’ve had this car for two years and this issue persists after taking my car in several times the mechanics are unable to figure out what is wrong, and it only re-occurs in the rain. I’ve given them more than opportunity to fix this on top of that they are not honoring my extended warranty contract by providing me with a rental vehicle when my car needs to go in for service.
