First federal bank of Kansas City where I had my VA loan and paid faithfully offered me deferred payments for one year during the Covid lockdown when my income had decreased. They assured me it would not go against my credit and would be placed at the end of the loan. I made every payment on time for one year after the deferred program had ended only To be notified I would be be placed in foreclosure in Jan of 2023 if I did not pay the lump sum money $19,000.009 upfront during the deferred payment program. That was the first time I had heard from them in over a year after the program had ended and had made every payment on time. I finally was able to get them to put me through their mitigation procedure and was told I was approved and the deferred payments had been placed at the end of my loan. During all that time I made every house payment on time. First federal bank of Kansas City sold my loan to Lakeview in July and they immediately turned it over to loan care, a collection agency, saying I was in default. They demanded all of the money during the deferred payments in one lump sum. Plus $10,000 in interest charges were added and $4000 plus in service fees. Also attorney ******** refused to take my August and September mortgage payment. I am trying to go through mitigation again with lawn care because first federal bank of Kansas City did not turn in my mitigation papers that they assured me had been completed and approved and I also had it notarized as requested.. I am having them investigated for fraud and a scam and lies !
