Multitudes of questions in their “ATI TEAS” mobile app are INCORRECT. Words necessary to answer questions are not italicized for example. Many question answers are falsely marked as correct/incorrect. It’s suprising to see a company getting so much revenue with a monopoly on the TEAS have such an indifferent attitude towards their users trying to use an unrefined app with straight up false question answer pairs. ATI, did you computer generate these questions? I don’t mind, but if you could have a tea, spend a day or two reviewing each of the 2300 questions, surely, it couldn’t take much time and your users would much appreciate it. Is this false advertising? I’m not qualified for that but certainly they should be more responsible to their obligate users if they want to keep licenses and revenue for coming decades.
For the 80 dollar package the only thing of value is the two practice questionsBusiness Response

I lost internet during the exam and it cost me 15 points on the section of the test I was taking compared to the previous time I took it.
I contacted the company and they refused to do anything, told me my only option is to pay to retake the test. The test is four hours and I was on the last section. I failed the section. I would have to sit through the ENTIRE test all over again to improve the score on the one section I was taking. I took the day off work to take this test. I have three kids, a job and am trying to get into school. It’s not as easy as “paying to retake” the exam. I studied for MONTHS and this company really hurt me.
Everything better work perfectly when you sit for this test because ATI will NOT work with you. They will not refund, they will not let you retake any portion of the test for any issue, and they will not let you speak to anyone other than a rep who will respond with a standard corporate PR statement that means nothing.
This company is dishonest and unethical and there is no accountability for how they administer their test. They just want to make money off college students who are required to take it. Protect yourselves students.Business Response

I was taking a TEAS online test and had issues with my macbook not working the day of the test and could not use that device to get on and didnt have any other device that could get on the test and i was attempting to get on the test a hour prior to start time and called for technical assistance and then were told that i'd have to go get my macbook repaired by apple and that i need to contact customer care about obtaining a reschedule date or a refund i was then directed to email the online store and was told I'd have to pay for a reschedule when there was nothing I could do to get on the test, my macbook was brand new and needs to be repaired at apple so clearly I could not take the test that day I don't see why I'd be unable to get a rescheduled test when I had done everything I could do to attempt to get on the test, I do not need a refund but I would like to get a rescheduled day for the test without paying 150$ again.Business Response

to registering for the TEAS exam along with a Dry Run test so you can test your
device. Down below are the instructions taken from our

The purpose of the dry run is to walk through each step in
the online exam process before your actual test day.
This will help identify any issues beforehand, as well as give you an idea of

Before starting the dry run, you should:

sure your laptop or desktop computer is fully charged and equipped with a
webcam and microphone.

all other windows and documents on your computer.
Have a
government-issued photo ID card available.
Find a
well-lit space and be ready for a desk scan prior to your assessment.

I order information from this Business and paid $224.52 for the study material. I also took two test that cost $87.00 The first test I took was in October 26 ,2023. The second test was November 13, 2024. I did a survey questioning how the same score was calculated for both test that was given.
The next week the score was taken off of the website. I called to ask about the purchase and why was the test score not available on the website. I witnessed that they make us write our name on the scratch paper for the test at Malcolm x College. The test is a proctored test so on the website it advises the paper to be blank or they will pick it up on the camera. I feel completed scammed out of my money. I called ATI and a customer service representative named Angel got very disrespectful when I asked about the removal of my test score. She claimed I had two accounts the representative I called prior stated the score was pending. I just want a refund since this company totally set the test. The night before taking my test the website kept shutting down while I was studying. It's a shame that these people are getting away with one of the biggest test scams for nursing school. I just want my money back because I did not get what I paid for.Business Response

the call in question and have addressed the issue with the agent involved.Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for the study
materials you purchased. While these materials cover the content and
information necessary for the proctored test, they do not determine the outcome
of the test or whether the user passes. The passing criteria is solely based on
how well the user answers the questions correctly during the proctored tests.Regarding the removal of your scores from your account, we
would recommend contacting the school with which you took the test. It appears
that the request to remove your scores was made by the school itself. However,
we have decided to make an exception in this case and issue a refund of $87 for
the test fee. We will process the refund within the next 48 business hours, and
you should expect the funds to return to your account within 3-5 days.

I placed an order with ATI to take a test that cost me $170 to take Sid test. I called before the test time to inform of the message that popped up that I was doing some thing that required ATI downtime. The first representative said that she couldn’t help me. She didn’t understand why that was popping up. We updated my chrome test download the date of test 430 logged in clip clicking begin test but it was too early 445. Try to do it too early for 50. I did it. It wouldn’t let me so I called and let them know like not letting me even begin my test. Don’t know what the issue is but it’s not resolving the issue when I spoke with someone in IT he did not know how to navigate my screen which went over the allotted timeframe because IT did not know how to effectively do their job in a timely manner so when I did have access to take my test, it was 15 minutes past the time that I could take my test , I contacted T about it. I was told that it was another student first thing that was not correct. Then I was told oh let me see if I can get a hold of somebody that was even more time that went by as I waited I was informed your past the timeframe of when you can take your test. I let them know. Hey IT took way too long to do this because they didn’t know how to effectively do their job. I reached out to the company. I just wanna take my test. We can reschedule it for a later time I was told we cannot reschedule, but you can pay for another one. This does not fall on me as they did not effectively do their job in a timely manner. Phone calls are recorded so it should be able to tell you how the process went. I would like that to be pulled. I would like a refund or to take the test because ATI saying no it’s not us it’s you , but it was not me that stopped me from being able to take my sister in a timely manner it was the staff of ATI and IT !Business Response

Our website states the following:
“ATI will provide a TEAS Dry Run assessment with your TEAS
Exam registration that should be completed prior to your remote (at-home) exam.
The purpose is to go through all system checks to make sure there are no issues
before beginning your proctored TEAS exam. Your dry run can be found once you
log into www.atitesting.com/login and
click the MY ATI tab followed by the TEST Tab.”
If certain tech requirements are not met before testing, you
will have to do so during your test time. Note: ATI does not consider technical
issues on the tester’s computer or Internet to be a valid reason for a refund
or free reschedule exception. Please make sure all technical requirements are
met before the start time of the assessment and use the Dry-Run assessment if
necessary to test your system.”
Unfortunately, if you were unable to install the Respondus
lockdown browser or access the test before the cutoff time, you will not be admitted
into the exam. We provide the Remote Proctor Dry Run test for testers to test
their system prior to the exam. Our records show that you haven’t accessed the
Dry Run prior to starting your exam. Unfortunately, this test is non-refundable
if you’re unable to start your exam before the cutoff time. This information is
also stated on our website:
“Please note: By
clicking the “Register” button I agree to test on the selected date and
understand that the test will be given using ATI Remote Proctoring Services,
described in ATI Terms and Conditions available on the ATI website.?I understand that I am
responsible for repaying and rescheduling for a new test if I am unable to
attend my scheduled date.
If you are more than 30 minutes late to the exam, you may
not be admitted, and no refund or reschedule will be offered.”

The business committed to providing resources to become a successful nurse. This company accused me of providing a third party to test on my behalf which has caused a deter in my life. When asked for specific details about the alleged incident to understand the nature of the accusation , the company refused to speak or show any proof. 9/21/24 I was scheduled for my exam and I could not get into my exam. I called and I emailed. I finally got in contact with a proctor and he was unable to help. He transferred me to tech support. No one answered. I waited an hour. I called back while still on hold with tech and the second proctor told me that tech left at 12:30 that’s why no one answered. I hung up and the proctor was able to get me in the exam 15 mins before it ended. My exam was 4 hours but I only got to complete 50 mins of it. The proctor left the exam and closed me out of it. I was not refunded and my score was 25% they will not remove the score.Business Response

29th of June I was scheduled for an ATI exam I paid 120$ for the exam. I have three laptops None of the computers were able to log into the test! I tried to log in at 7:30am We tried to download the lock down browser with no success I tried numerous times to contact ATI between phones and live chat with no results 8:37am we got in contract with ***** from live chat She tried to connect to TI no response the chat ended no TI We continued to try to log on with no success I spoke to ***** at 10:49 he was the proctor he realized I was attempting to call from 7:50am and I called no answer till 10:49 At that time the proctor named ***** attempted to help with two different computers unable to successfully help me. I stayed on the line for IT! No IT staff available to help me call ended I was not aware that IT was not available that day for the exam until I called again and spoke to ****** at 11:16am on the day of the test . ****** explained to me that there was no TI available that day and that I should speak to someone Monday morning about the exam On July 1, 2024 I called ATI and spoke to someone named ******** at 12:20 pm she looked into the records and could see that I attempted numerous times to log into the exam and she acknowledged that the company was aware of the not only the phone calls but also the computer log in attempts that were made She gave me all the information of the people that I spoke to that day of the exam and stated that I should make a complaint or request to reschedule the exam My mother also attempted that Monday after the exam to call ATI and explain what happened and they were absolutely rude to my mother did not want to help my mother at all or to help me even though my mother explained everything! They explained that there are no refunds, but yet they explained to my mother that the problem has to be on my end which admitted via my conversation with ********, she works there that it was not on my end that the problem occurredBusiness Response

allow you to reschedule your TEAS exam free of charge. We can only reschedule
you for the same test site (TEAS at ATI Remote Proctoring) or we can issue a
refund for your exam if you choose to test through a different test site.

I paid ATI testing to do the teas test it took about 1 and a half hours before I was able to resume my exam all the while the test was running, I had a 3.3 way below the level I paid again but picked the wrong date, which was 4/9/2024 but I picked the 8th called back and the supervisor as for a doctor note in order for me to move forward I had to send her my appointment information to be able to proceed, that has all my medical information on it, the supervisor instructed them not to talk to me but hang up on me, which they continue to do, even today when I called they hung up on me, I was simply trying to get credit for 1/2024 and apply it to the new test on 4/15/2024 they want me to online store email which I don't have that much time for the email, I need a corporate supervisor not the one's that's both supervisor and manager.Business Response

I went the ED on February 27, 2024, treated and release four days later. this has no relevancy on taking the test, during casual conversation with the supervisor I shared with her, I look through for upcoming appointments knowing that I had a f/u appointment on 4/9/2024 for the ninth I accidently checked the eight, this happened on the seventh, so I decided to do a dry run on the eight at that point I realized that I checked the wrong date which was the eight, I should have checked the ninth, many of us are Quilty of that, so I dialed the number immediately to let them know what had happened, the representative was very confrontational I was just trying to notify the office what had happened it took another turn, so I said I will be making a call to the corporate office his response was "you threating my job" I said no but I will make a complaint on you to corporate, not sure what he told the supervisor the whole dynamic changed, that when she asked for the letter the supervisor wouldn't have known if I didn't conversate about that with her. so, then she gives me three days I would have had to go back to the doctor's office to get that letter and it wouldn't have happened in three days now what other choice do I have, now my medical information is out there, January 3, it took about seven tries before I could get on to the exam all the while the test is running so the reading portion was cut off before I got finished, at this time I'm exhausted tired and had to go to work there was no way of doing that and getting to work for three o'clock, the supervisor sent out a broad email not to talk to me so now one said to me "shut up and listen because we should not be talking to you" another one said that was threating her with a lion, they would hang up on me, all because this representative told the supervisor something I have no idea just trying to let them know that I checked the wrong date, here we are I have had good conversation with the supervisor, WHAT WENT WRONGBusiness Response

Thank you for contacting ATI. Per our policy, we do require documentation to reschedule tests. In the case of a medical issue, the documentation we ask for is a generic note saying the tester was seen at their office. We do not require the reason for the visit to protect the tester's privacy. Jeanette did provide that generic note. After granting her reschedule, she was able to complete her test. We are unable to issue a refund or reschedule since the attempt was completed. Due to less than civil conversations with our agents, we did require her to email for the sake of clarity.

I recently was enrolled at ***** College in Toledo Ohio. I graduated in December and was not able to access Vati through instructions from my school. Which set me back 2 weeks in the Vati. My time expired and I ended up having to renew Vati. I explained the circumstances and explained it was out of my control and was still charged to renew. Honestly, the whole ATI/Vati program is a money scam and I don’t believe any of it contributed to me becoming a nurse.
