I requested removal of items to be disposed at my mother's American House Senior Living Apartment at ***** *** ***** **** ***, Westland, MI 48185 on Saturday, February 8, 2025. A two-person crew arrived, surveyed the items to be removed and gave me a verbal quote of $398.00 for a quarter load of their truck. ************** advertises that they will give an exact price after they see the items to be disposed of and there are never any hidden fees.

After loading the items to be disposed of onto their truck, I was presented with a bill for a quarter load of their truck as verbally quoted plus an unexpected "Additional Labor Fee" of $75.00. This was a simple move of items though a short first-floor hallway and out the side door of the building. There were no stairs or not even a single step up or down involved. This additional labor fee of $75.00 was not disclosed on the verbal quote and I certainly consider this a hidden fee.

I have used ************** on four previous occasions for much more difficult disposal jobs (including emptying the contents of a detached garage that required a much longer long walk to the truck for each load, and emptying the contents of a basement that required the workers to climb a flight of stairs while carrying each load) and was never charged an "Additional Labor Fee".

My desired settlement is to have the unexpected "Additional Labor Fee" of $75.00 credited back to my credit card.

I joined their club they have and I’ve been paying 13 a month for this club. I joined their club they have and I’ve been paying 13 a month for this club. I’m just trying to contact them to update my credit info card information and I’m getting the runaround from them and all the contact information on the receipts are wrong so I cannot get a hold of the person who’s in charge of the club so that is why I’m filing this complaint.

On July 22, 2023, this company (**************) came to our HOA for a bid to remove 6 piles of brush. After viewing the brush piles, we agreed with the company on a bid of $200. The 2 employees stated they would return on Monday, July 24th to haul away the brush. Arriving on the 24th, the employees loaded 2/3 of the brush piles. At this point, I was told by them that they would not pick up the other 1/3 of the brush unless we paid another $200. I reminded them that they had given me the bid of $200 on the 22nd based upon their visual inspection of the brush piles. One of the employees said he called their boss about the change in charges. He said the boss declared the original bid was too small—that to finish picking up the last 1/3 of the brush, we would have to pay an additional $200. In discussing with this employee the breach of the agreement, he became verbally agitated and continued to try to validate the increase in cost. Telling him that we would not pay the added cost, and that I was not interested in arguing, he accused me of pursuing an argument, and that it was me who was at fault.
At this point, I gave them the check for $200, as agreed upon the 22nd for the complete job. They completed only 2/3 of the agreed upon job. No further communicated ensued.
