This real estate company sent a postcard to the home my partner and I rent, encouraging our landlord to sell it for a quick cash turnaround.

The postcard included a photo of our actual house (as maybe proof they had the correct house?) which is extremely creepy.

Normally companies like this do this because they want to rip off low income homeowners for property that is in some semblance of disrepair, with plans to flip it for a profit - leaving said home owners in an eventual position of having to pay a landlord for a place to live until they inevitably can't afford it and end up on housing assistance. It's a real scumbag sort of operation ran by the worst types of human beings.

The home I live in however is not of such disrepair, and is in a nicer neighborhood with quite a few other families who rent their homes they live in. So essentially this company is okay with enticing our landlord to quickly sell the house under us, and throw us on the streets, so they can attempt to reap a profit. Again, real scumbag sort of operating. Unfortunately for them, our landlord is awesome, has no intention of selling currently, and we're not in danger of losing our place of living.

My partner will be in a position of buying a home in the next couple of years, so I'm at least glad that this company at least clarified to the both of us to not give them our business when that becomes the case. We don't do business with bottom of the barrel scumbag companies like Sunflower Real Estate. If you're thinking about selling your home to/through them - just know that whatever they are offering you, is not what the actual value of your home is. Skip these miscreants.

I received a post card with the picture of "my house" and my house address. I don't appreciate this, it's putting my life at risk. I am NOT selling my house and would never use this company. They should NEVER NEVER put personal information, pictures or anything else for the public unless you authorize and YOU putting your house on the market through them. If my name and address is not removed I am going to file a complaint. This is UNACCEPTABLE and the better business bureau should never support a company like this. I GIVE THIS BUSINESS A MINUS "F".
