    Amount: $12,567 ******, the acting manager, overcharged on service that my car didn't need. I went in for an oil change and tune up. ****** proceeded to explain everything that was wrong with my car instead of listening to the customer, regardless of his suggestions. Since I was a woman, he figured he could take advantage of the situation in regard to overcharging for their service. I wanted to ask for my car back, but after reading the horrible reviews, I didn't feel safe. After reading the reviews, I didn't think my car would returned in its original condition. In which I would be forced to return. There was another mechanic siting at the desk with him (****) and I could tell he had a conscience but didn't want to overstep. When I returned home, I checked my old receipts, and I realized I was charged twice for the same service (Engine Gasket $740.10). When I requested a refund, the manager (******) refused. This Meineke location should be shut down. And the mechanics as well as management should be fired for breach of power. Or featured on the news for their business or lack there of.

    To Whom It May Concern:

    ******* ******** has visited our Meineke location twice. Once on 12/12/2018 and once on 11/16/2024. After reviewing our records none of the work was performed twice and the customer authorized all work as evidenced by her signature on the invoice. All work that was authorized was performed. The invoice on 11/16/2024 was for $3463.77 and the invoice on 12/12/2018 was for $83.30. She was only charged once for each service, except for the oil change, which was charged for once on each invoice that were four years apart. The customer used ******** ***** Financial as a payment option on the repairs on 11/16/2024. She had to review those terms and conditions prior to signing the loan contract with ******** ***** Financial before the transaction was authorized. It is our position that this complaint is invalid. I have attached both invoices from 2018 and 2024.

    Took my car in for an oil change through *******. Upon driving my car there, it started acting up. Check engine light came on and was just running very rough. I let them know and was told I had an oil leak after the oil change and that my transmission mount needed replaced. I was told the mount would be 646 for the part for the mount and 98 to find the oil leak. I then dropped it back off on 5/4/24 and then was told that it was going to be 500 more, so then I got that amount. I called to check on my car as it was there from 1030 am to 6pm. When I called they then tell me that the oil leak would be 300 more hundred dollars. I said no, bc I had already spent 1494 and thought this included the oil leak repair. So im really not sure what was fixed or wasn't. I just know that I am out of money and my car is no better than when I took it in. Very disappointed!

    I brought a vehicle for an alignment and explained that I only wanted the toe set and nothing else. I had an appointment for 11:30 to wait on it and when I arrived, ***** ****** said that he will “try to fit it in” but didn’t know when It would be done.

    I got a call at 5pm that it was ready to be picked up. When I arrived I was told that they couldn’t do the alignment because the control arms were worn and that I had to pay for an alignment check. There was no print out of the alignment check. So I basically paid someone to drive my car and say “yeah, it’s doing exactly what you said it was doing when you brought it in”.

    When I explained that the control arms were newer and everything looked fine when I was under the car on a lift about a month ago, he became frustrated and said “I’m not in the mood for this today” and called me a d***. The photo of the bushing they showed me had a normal, factory void in the rubber and he tried to tell me that this was not right and he can’t do an alignment but he had to pay his guy to check it out for an hour. My dashcam shows that he drove it for 5min and came back to the shop and that was it.

    ***** ****** then became extremely rude and disrespectful and demanded that I pay in cash because I was “being difficult” for asking questions about the work that they didn’t do (but still wanted me to pay) and refused to accept my card for payment!!

    ***He demanded a cash payment, and threatened to keep my vehicle unless I paid in cash then told me I couldn’t get a receipt for my payment but eventually printed my receipt after I said I would call the pd

    This could have been handled in a much more professional manner but ***** seems to have little to no respect for his customers.

    I WAS NOT INFORMED THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR AN ALIGNMENT CHECK EVEN WHEN THE WORK WAS NOT COMPLETED. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE WORK I WAS CHARGED FOR. I DID NOT RECEIVE THE WORK I REQUESTED AND SIGNED FOR UPON ARRIVAL
