My dad was admitted to this facility from Jan 18-22nd of 2024. We were charged 9,000.00 up front for a month's worth of stay as was the policy. We signed a contract agreement prior to his admittance. My dad passed away on Jan 22nd and him/his belongings were removed from the facility. I spoke with the business office Manager ***** and was advised we would be issued a refund for the days charged in which they collected money up front for but for which he was not there. To date we have not received our refund. We are due approximately 8,000.00. Over the past 3 months I have left message after message with the business office manager as well as with 2 owners of the facility. All messages have been ignored and no return call to me has been made once. On the off chance the business office manager picks up the phone when I call, I have been given a multitude of excuses as to why there is still no refund (it's just a matter of pushing buttons, the owners are in the building this week and the refund will be addressed, this is the first refund we've ever had to issue, we aren't clear on what account the check needs to be written off of, I've submitted the refund request to corporate). It got to the point that I had to physically go into the facility in order to get any information from the office manager as she was ignoring all my calls for weeks and requests for a call back. At that time I obtained a copy of the signed agreement we signed prior to my dad being admitted. In the agreement it specifically states that all refunds will be paid within 30 days of patient discharge, transfer or death. This facility is in breech of it's contract as we are now 90+ days out from the death of my dad and no refund has been issued.
