    We purchased a new ** fridge in June of 2022 as our previous fridge stop working. We were assured that ** was a top brand sold by Metro Appliances. The appliance stopped working on Oct 23rd. We contacted Metro and they said we would need to contact ** directly as the first year of the 5 year warranty was covered directly through **. We then called ** who said that the service company (***) would be available to come out on Oct 31st to take a look at the unit. On the 31st the repair tech arrived and said that he did not have the appropriate parts for the repair. Instead, they would have the order the parts to be shipped to our house and come back out at a later date to make the repair.

    On Nov 7th (16 days without a fridge) the *** repair tech arrived at our home only to share that ** shipped the wrong repair parts. After a very disappointing visit we called ** and they said they could help us by sending a check for $100 in order for us to rent a fridge.

    After the poor experience with ***, we asked that ** send out a reputable repair company to ensure they could resolve the issue. The last appointment we had was on 11/21, the new repair company who we should have bought our fridge from in the first place (hindsight) said that they would need the parts to be ordered through their company and would then come back out to fix our fridge on 12/12.

    Long story short, through multiple attempts to have Metro provide us with a new fridge they said there was nothing that they could do and that it was **'s responsibility.

    In the chance that the new repair company can fix the appliance on 12/12 we will have gone 50 days without the appliance.

    We are a small family of four, Metro Appliances and ** are multi million and billion dollar organizations. They do not care about replacing the model and will continue to sell the appliance to more customers. Metro even stated that even though they know that the ** model is faulty they will continue to sell to customers
