      I had a bad service experience. The first time I called, they told me they would call back and never did. They failed to mention they charge $170 just for a service call. The tech (Aaron) didn't fix the problem, and replaced my RO membrane without asking, even though I had recently replaced it myself.

      I have had unsatisfactory service from the first time Culligan dropped off the soft water tank. They left it on my driveway by a gate, not hooked up, which I did later. And they had the gull to charge $50 for a CONNECTION FEE of which they never did. The sporadic service was so bad that they gave me the option to cancel my contract in two months if I was still not satisfied with the service. I opted to cancel my contract for the service when the time came. I was at the hospital helping my brother being discharged. When I returned several hours later home, my wife told me the hot water was off and other faucets were too. I checked where the tank was and noticed that the hoses were left unconnected. Therefore no running water to previous soft water faucets, sinks or showers. I called Culligan about my problem. They said it would take hours for it to be resolved. I can't understand what they think a retired 78 year old man is supposed to do. I contacted my neighbor when he got home from work and asked for his assistance. He put in the missing pipe connection and restored my water. I called the service man that was enroute to cancel. I DON'T RECOMMEND CULLIGAN WATER. SERVICE.

      Culligan water of Ontario installed pressure regulator for 350$ and water softner tank embedding for 515$ in December of 2022. We paid the bill in cash to the technician. The technician took money and said " You will receive the receipt in the email. ". The receipt never came and they send me outstanding balance of 180$ which we already paid up front.
      When I call their customer service, a person named "Lisa" answered the phone and told me i have to speak to Erika about billing issues. None of their staff gives **** about your fake bills. The staff do not understand seriousness of the billing isssues. They could be sending fake bills to many other people.

      I was originally a ************* customer in Flint. I canceled my service with ************* in September before Culligan bought them. Somehow this Ann Arbor location took many of the Flint customers and has been sending all sorts of deliveries without anyone's permission and they charge your account when they want and when they don't I've been trying since January 13th to stop them and still keep getting deliveries. Even the Flint office says something shady is going on here.

      I had nothing but terrible service. Constant communication issues and delivery issues. This resulted in me having a ton of empty bottles I was being charged for and an abundance of water that I didn't need. I complained several times to deaf ears. I finally canceled my account. Avoid these people!!

      Our under the kitchen sink RO system:
      2023- January rate increase from $25.66 to $28.66----that is a 11.7% increase. That is above inflation rate!
      2022- January rate increase from $22.66 to $25.66----that is a 13.2% increase. Again, above inflation rate!
      2021- January rate increase from $22.00 to $22.66----that is a 3% increase. This is reasonable.
      We did not get any notification from Culligan that our rates were going up. And our credit card was charged with the increased rate. Which is FAR ABOVE inflation. Culligan is price gouging!

      Culligan of Cleveland installed a water softener in my plant on 11/02/22. I am the maintenance manager of that plant. I met the Culligan of Cleveland technician at our door, showed him where the softener was to be installed, exchanged phone numbers with and was easily accessible to the installing technician throughout the installation. Near the end of the shift I went to check on him and he was gone. I called him and it went to voicemail. He left without reviewing any info on operations and maint. with me. He left no manuals. I am very disappointed with Culligan of Cleveland. I filed a complaint with the company that sold me the softener and they expressed disappointment in Culligan of Cleveland also. I will not allow Culligan of Cleveland back in any of our plants.

      BUYER BEWARE!!!!

      This is a racket of a water company that installs what you think is a great product and it does work fine per the initial cost ( it better ) $1000 cash! This is the classic American company that you buy something you think is quality but shortly thereafter you have to continually buy their filters at an ASStronomical cost of $300 bucks here, $300 bucks there!!! Filter for this, filter for that! This is all in contrast to buying a better quality product at home depot for cheaper with the filter replacements that are definitely a lot cheaper. This local company here in San Diego, basically gouges you for the cost of the perpetual service they offer to replace filters for the life of the product! *************************************************************** *************************************************************** *************************************************************** *************************************************************** **************************************** Will not be buying anymore from this company and will move on to other alternatives that way more cost effective! good riddance!

      My review is based on my experience with Rob ******* in the administrative offices and not on the product(s) they sell, the installation, service thereof or customer service as a customer.

      I work as the financial manager for a local general contractor. Following the installation of a water system in a client's projects we had a payment issue resulting in a substantial refund being owed to us.

      Rob was courteous, knowledgeable and approachable. He worked to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. He even followed up to make certain the credit was issued.

      It was refreshing to work with someone so committed to doing their job the best way possible. We had a very different situation just a couple of months ago with ******************** in Loveland.
