The Solar Guy was recommended to me for finishing my solar project. They came out, gave me a quote, and I signed an agreement on docusign around 12/7/22 and I got a loan for $39K on 12/16/22 to have my solar system completed. 1/2 of the money was dispersed on 12/21/22. Feb '23 someone showed up to pour a concrete pad for a generator and to mark where my solar structure would be. They returned 4/18/23 to build structure. They stayed overnight and came back 4/19 to finish. They ran out of supplies and said they would have to come back to finish building the solar panel structure. They have yet to return. I have called so many times, probably over 100 times. Most of the time it was no answer. The times I did get through, I was told he's not in, we will give him the message, or he would answer and would give every weather excuse, or supply delays, or there was medical emergencies, or "I was under the impression it was completed. I've been in Texas for the last 2-3 weeks." You name it, I've heard it. I called the bank around July and told them what was going on. The bank reached out and wanted the serial number of the generator and receipts of the solar panels and other supplies needed for the project. He never supplied anything. I was sent emails in late September and early October 2023 saying my project would be completed by 10/31/23. I reached back out to the bank and had them email The Solar Guy that I wanted to cancel my contract and wanted my money back. He responded by saying that I needed to fill out some forms and that the bank would need to approve also. I said send them to me and the bank and we would look them over and would give him a final decision the first of the next week. Never sent any forms. Was sent a certified letter from The Solar Guy in November stating he was suing the bank and a customer. Got another email on 11/29/23 stating that my project would be completed by 12/23/23. It's now 1/25/24. Been making payments since 2/15/23 on 1/2 of $39,000.Initial Complaint

Contracted in June of 2023 for a solar system with backup generator for $50k. He received half up front from the finance company to cover material costs. The concrete pad for generator was not installed until August and luckily I did get a generator installed but it hasn’t been activated yet, so it is still useless. That leaves around $15k of undelivered materials. The other $25k of the loan has been cancelled, but my payments are still based on full loan value and I am getting no benefit from any of it…not even backup power. I have researched and found several others that are also being ripped off. A company in Ohio has a pending lawsuit against him and I personally know of at least 6-8 more and am guessing there are probably many more unknown as of now. We purchased solar panels in May of 2023 we paid 1/2 $17000.00 was emailed a receipt and told we would get a rebate of $6500.00 after that did the paper work. After the installation was finished we paid the remaining $17000.00 We were never sent a receipt for the last payment and we have asked for it numerous times and also asked about rebate. We were told they were working on rebate and would send receipt by email and regular mail. We never received either and they will not return phone calls or emails. We need the receipt for our taxes. This is not the way a business should do its customers. We gave them all the money they should’ve done what they said they would do.Initial Complaint

August 17, 2023 I paid Mystic Energy Services $5.900 for the purchase and installation of a Generac Generator. The unit was delivered, concrete pad poured, the unit was finally, after 2 months connected to my propane tank and my house but I have been unable to get in touch with **** *****, officer/salesman for Mystic Energy Services to complete the installation. In the meantime I have discovered that Mr. ***** sold generators to 6 other people, collected payment in full but delivery of units has not been completed, phone calls are not being answered, messages left with no response.Initial Complaint

On 8/18/23 we issued two checks to Mystic Energy Services for purchase of a Generac generator and installation. The checks totaled $5900. On at least two occasion we requested a receipt be emailed. We were assured it would be emailed. No receipt was emailed. After that we left numerous messages asking to be called with information on when our installation would take place . No one ever returned a call , text, or email. As of today all we have to show for our $5900 is a small concrete pad for the generator to sit on. Still no one will return our calls. My solar quit working so I called the Solar Guy. A local solar company. I contacted them on May 20th and they came out a couple days later. They told me I had a bad inverter and it would be around $3k - I wrote them a check and they cashed it. After numerous phone calls, they finally replaced the unit on August 5th. I asked for the old inverter so I could try and file a warranty claim. They advised me that they could take care of that for me and could probably get most, if not all, my money back on the inverter. My solar has an app that tells me what my out-put is and when they finished the job this was not working. The app says your installer has to set this up. I have contacted them at least 10 -15 times to get a resolution. I am always told they will get back to me and no one ever does. Now i can't even get anyone to call me back. I have left numerous messages. I just want the solar repairs completed (which I paid for in advance) and for them to either get the warranty payment processed or give me the bad inverter so I can. This has been an absolutely horrible experience. There is "zero" communication from this company. I have been patient, but going on 5 months is ridiculous!! **** posted on the Bowling Green groups that he had a 24 Generac Generator for sale that included the transfer switch with it. He said he had 6 of them available. I told him I was closing on my house on 7/21 and that I would like to purchase one. He sent me a contract via docusign and he drove the next day to my house to collect a check. I looked at bbb ratings and everything looked legit. He said it should take 3 weeks to get. They cashed my check and I never heard from him again. I was using Facebook messenger to communicate with him. I got a message saying they were coming that day to pour the pad, which ended up being 3 days later but I was ok with that. He then told me that the unit would be installed 3 days after the pad was poured. Almost a month went by and no word from them. I started asking questions and I would get, they will be there Monday to install. Monday would come and go and then they would make some excuse up on why they didn’t get it done. They kept rescheduling and never showing. He then gave me the number of the guy who does the install. Takes this guy 3 days to answer anything each message for another date from him. No show. No the sales person or owner **** has blocked me on messenger and no generator and we are going on month 3. Now no phone calls back. This is a scam and want my money back so I can go to a republican company to get one installed.
