The apartments where I live have parking permits for their renters
My car is currently at the shop
So they provided me with a rental car
I got a pass from the apartment complex
For some reason last night the pass wasn't in the windshield but instead in the middle console , which is still very much visible .
The response I got from the company is way out of line

?? guess next time you should spend less time arguing, over 30 minutes and get your priorities straight and make arrangements so that your kids are not late for school then huh. Sounds like a personal problem to me. You going to waste our time, so what's the hurry ? A driver will get there when he gets there. You're not a priority over anyone else, in-fact this gives you a reason to lay in bed longer and blow the excuse off on someone else. You're not special. You're not a responsible mom. You're just one of those who doesn't accept responsibility for her own actions. ??????????????

My daughter goes to school at WKU, lives in an apartment complex connected to campus called Midtown Kentucky. Midtown has paided this company Scotty's Towing and Recovery Services to patrol their parking lot. My husband drove 100 miles to assist her with moving out her furniture today 7/5/23 since he had today off and move dead line is 7/15/23. My husband had spoke to the manager at Midtown and was given permission to park his truck and a UHaul truck temporarily to move her furniture out. They were not in the parking lot 10 minutes before Scotty's towing and recovery put a boot on his truck and refused to remove it until he paid $125.00 or be towed and pay $250 to get his vehicle called. The Midtown manager was contacted and came out and told the tow truck drive to remove the boot and he refused, my husband had to call the police and tow truck driver continued to refuse to remove boot, acting very pompous and causing situation to escalate even after being told to remove the boot. My husband ended up paying the $125, which he should not have been charged and the towing company should have removed boot when told by the apartment complex manager and the police. I went to their website and they have multiple complaints and poor reviews listed for same type of behavior. My husband and I are requesting assistance to get a refund of our $125.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: This reply is not truthful, first and for most my husband has Never had a boot placed on his vehicle, especially three years ago, since my daughter has only lived in these apartments since March of 2022.  Second, my husband had permission to have his vehicle parked in the lot from ******** and ******* in Midtown's office.  And the manager called Scotty's twice and told them to remove the boot that he had permission to be there to move her furniture.  Third, he never said he had a  saw, he did say he would take the boot off himself.  Fourth, my husband did not say anything about not having a card to pay, for my husband always has his wallet with him and my son, daughter  and 2 others that were helping move that day were witness to my husband paying with his credit card the amount of $125 plus tax.  My husband gave his card to the officer with his ID due to the tow company owner being so rude and arrogant.

    Sincerely,

Unfortunately, since you were not present on the day that this transpired, you are replying on second-hand information. On the other hand, I provided an explanation of what happened and what was said based on a first-hand account. For quality purposes, all incoming and outgoing phone calls are recorded. The statements that were made in my response can be validated by the call recordings as I did not rely solely on my recollection of the conversations. Regarding the credit card payment, I have attached a receipt for the $110.00 that was paid, not the "$125 plus tax" that you purported was paid in your response. Please review the transaction history with your credit card company. If there is a discrepancy in the payment and the provided receipt, please let us know.
