    This business was contracted by our home warranty company, ******** **** ******* They were very attentive at first (in early November 2024) when first investigating the issue and trying to fix what they initially thought was wrong but it was not the part that needed to be repaired. But, it is now the end of January 2025 and we still have no resolution of our problem. They lied about when they received the repair part from AHS. The lied to AHS contracting officials about contacting us and not being able to reach us when they never actually called. They told us they would come at least 4 times and no one showed. Their excuse was always that someone called off, but then they never prioritized getting anyone out early the next week or the next available time. I am all for supporting small businesses, but we are now 3 months without a working oven because this company won’t service us, and is lying to the warranty company about attempting to provide service and make contact when they have done nothing. This company does nothing but lie to customers and their contract carriers. They steal money from warranty companies and never actually finish the job.

    On August 4th, our a/c unit stopped working and we contacted our home warranty to file a request for service. They contract with businesses to source out the work to get done. The company they contract with is R&S Heating & Cooling. We have had previous experience with this business back in 2021 and they were awful then, and they are awful now. First, the customer service is AWFUL. They do not answer phone calls, don't return voicemails, and they make excuses why it takes so long to get a service appt. We had an appointment on August 13th for a technician to come to the home and fix our a/c. The technician showed up, filled our unit up with freon, left within 30 minutes, without even checking to see if that fixed the problem. Needless to say, it did not fix the problem. I called first thing Monday morning on August 15th to let the office manager know the job was not completed and the a/c still does not work. She, ******, was very hateful, and said it would be next week before anyone was able to come back out. We had an appt for Aug. 23rd and two technicians showed up and stated that we have multiple leaks and now the compressor had gone bad and we had to replace the whole unit. I contacted the owner's wife to tell her of our horrible experience with her office manager and lack of answering phones. Our order for a new unit was placed timely and we were contacted on August 30th to inform us that a technician would be at our house on Friday, Sept. 2nd between the hours of 10am-4pm. My husband and I are both school teachers and I had to take a day off work and request a substitute. I received a phone call at 8am on Friday from the technician informing me that he would not be able to come and some things came up. I reminded him I took a day off work and after some convincing, he agreed to come. He called around 11:30am to let me know he would be here at 2pm. He then called at 2:15pm to say it would be closer to 3pm. It is 5:10pm and no show and no phone call. AWFUL!!

    We apologize for not answering phone calls, but this is out busy season and not all calls can be answered when they are placed due to very high call volume. As for taking longer than normal to service, we are in the peak season and are booking out weeks at a time. We understand this is a big inconvenience and apologize for any problems this may have caused you and your husband. Our techs arrived at the home on the day we were scheduled and worked till 10:30 at night to ensure this job was taken care of and  installation complete.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The job was completed and the technician did stay until past 10pm to complete the job. We are thankful it was completed.

    My air conditioner stopped working on June 7, 2022. I immediately contacted R & S Heating, because the unit had been installed less than a year prior at the point. ******* then came, checked the unit, and concluded the compressor needed to be replaced. I then called the office, made an appointment for it to be fixed, and nobody came to fix it. I have since been in contact with ******* who has repeatedly promised to repair the unit, but this issue remains unresolved.

    We have been waiting for his compressor to come in from the manufacture due to Mr. ****** dropping his warranty company. We have the compressor on order and have just not received it as of yet. He is not being charged any money for this repair even though he is responsible for the Freon cost and the labor.  The warranty on his unit is parts only but out of kindness we  are waiving the fees that would otherwise have been due.
