Unexpectedly, I needed a right hip replacement. Ambulance service was called and I was transported to ***** Health-The ****** Hospital, Kenwood. I had surgery on 09/13/21 completed by Dr. S********. The year before, 11/24/20, I had a left hip replacement completed by Dr. **, University of Cincinnati. I had the surgery as stated above and released on 11/25/20. Had physical therapy when released at my home. For the right hip replacement, there were problems with my right hip/thigh. I wasn't released the next day, and I have had difficulties then to the present, 2024. Even after numberless office visits with Dr. S********, my pain in my right hip/thigh persisted. He would prescribed pain medicine, which did help. But, according to him and the numberless X-rays, nothing was done. Eventually, I had a second opinion completed with Dr. **, **, who had completed my left hip replacement. I had my right hip replaced by Dr. **, 6/06/23, due to at first, the hip replacement equipment was defective. After that surgery, I still had pain in my hip/thigh. I was scheduled for a third right hip replacement on 01/23/24. On 01/23/24, after surgery, I found out I didn't have a right hip replacement for the third time. Dr. ** realized I had a right femur fracture and a bacteria was discovered. A biopsy was conducted, a small sample of tissue taken from my body for examination, to determine if there was an infection, which there was. I was prescribed the correct antibiotics. Shortly after taking the pills, my pain in my hip/thigh lessen. I feel all of this that I went through and still is, 2024, related back to my right hip replacement on 09/13/21. I have read several reports on how "doctors" do not listen to Black females. In this case, this was definitely the case. I can remember being at ** Emergency Department due to my legs being extremely swollen. If I had a femur fracture then, before having my right hip replacement, it should have been discovered in 2021.

After this practice was my care provider following my issues with ruptured lumbar disks, they scheduled and cancelled two appointments with me, then randomly dumped me. Some person named Paula A**** (or something like that) and Carol W*** suddenly refused to see me and left me without pain meds out of the blue. I'm caring for a 90 year old father, and they just flat dumped me. What happened--did they get sued? I believe the main problem was that I wasn't a male football player with a messed up knee. The fact that I was a 68 year old female with ruptured disks seems more likely to be the reason I was "tossed." They were good to my father, 90 years old, and a man blown off a tank in Vietnam. But women seem to be something they can't deal with.

Non caring doctors and worst billing officers. I was involved in 2 back to back car accidents, none were my fault. I had to have total knee replacement surgery as a result. I have such extensive damage that I needed to file for disability. Dr S******* who diagnosed me refused to help me. I had to get my primary physician to do it. I also had my billing set up on autopay and discovered that there were over charging me. For months now I have tried to get this fixed but I am getting no where. I have submitted my proof to the COO Janie O***** and after 2 months she not only has not reviewed what I gave her, like she said that she would but she is now ignoring me. It looks like they are leaving me no choice but to take them to court. Everyone who I know who has ever dealt with orthocincy has pretty much a bad experience. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

RE* ****** To whom it may concern: I am in receipt of the BBB concern ******. We have made multiple attempts to resolve the billing matter with the patient without success. OrthoCincy has worked with the patient, the ******** Attorney General and the patient’s attorney regarding the balance due. OrthoCincy has reviewed her account on multiple occasions and has always came to the same conclusion, the balance due is accurate. In a gesture towards customer satisfaction, OrthoCincy will provide an account balance adjustment to the patient in the amount of $182.83. This courtesy adjustment will satisfy her current balance due with OrthoCincy. OrthoCincy considers this matter resolved. Thank you for your time.
