1 starThis third-party company for Lowe's reached out to me several weeks after my purchase. "Some guy" (he didn't introduce himself) came in. Supposedly installed my dishwasher. Left a mess!! Water everywhere. Parts everywhere. Tore my linoleum flooring. Did not fasten the hose that fills the dishwasher, rendering my kitchen cabinet useless. Left without telling me he was done. Left my kitchen and garage door wide open. This was a horrible experience and I will NEVER purchase an appliance from Lowe's if they use this company.Review fromJose H

1 starCrume installers failed to show up to my house today to drop off or install appliances. I was initially given a window of 2-5pm. I called Crume the afternoon of drop off day (APR 23) to confirm, where I was then told the window was now 3-7pm. I waited until 8pm and Crume never showed, nor did anyone give me a call to inform me they’d be missing the appointment. I find this to be extremely unprofessional and disrespectful as I sat around and wasted my entire day. I missed work and also missed spending time with my mother in law and my newborn as we live 2hrs away from this house. If I was to miss the appointment it would be a 150$ fee, so because my time was wasted and missed I would like to be compensated. I will be here tomorrow morning APR 24. I would like the delivery team to deliver first thing in the morning as I have to go out of town and this needs to be completed as I have in lawns and a new born. Actions like these explain why Crume doesn’t do Google reviews or any reviews at all. This 3rd company is garbage from MY experience.Review fromMARCIA H

1 starWorst Installers ever! I had a dishwasher to install, and I had problems with several issues. I admit the first issue was my error as I purchased the wrong size dishwasher. The others were clearly Crume installers fault. Virgil stated that he could not install on the second trip due to pipe leak, gas line in the way and that I needed an ADA dishwasher (basically he didn't want to install). The third visit Virgil cancelled. I called Crume to say I have been waiting weeks to get this installed (fixed leak). Chris called me back that same day to say that he was in Indiana and would be over in a couple hours, Chris arrived and had no issues with the gas line and that the dishwasher fit into the spot with ease. It is a shame that Lowe's uses Crume to install their stuff and that the installer dictates when a Lowe's customer will get their appliances installed! I can't even give a star rating as I am still upset but I have to in order to leave my review!Review fromMohinder K

1 starThis is a horrible company to deal with. See below why: If there was an negative star I should give them a negative star,. No one at this company take any responsibility. Do not do any business with this company. Save yourself headache. I purchased windows from Lows to be installed at 7602 Weatherly Court, West Chester, OH-45069 by Crume Installations in December 2023. They came to install the windows in Feburary2024. At the end of installation, the instiller told me that he has the wrong trim(white instead Brown) and will be ack in 2 weeks. I called in march to find out what happened, since no one had reached out to me. They told me that we closed the case as it has been completed. when I told that it has not been completed, no one has come to put the trim, they said sorry we will send some one soon. They scheduled some one to come om March 29th from 9AM-12PM. At 2:30 (2and half hour after he was supposed) I got a call from installer that he could not come that day but will come next day. Then every day as next day. No one showed up. I called to day April 5th) and talked to Melisa she said that work has been completed and case was closed. When I told she no one cam and no trim has been installed. she said she is going to schedule to some and will let me know. Every time they schedule some one to come no one comes and the close the case as complete and close the case.Review fromDiane R

1 starInstaller wasn't a certified plumber and he failed to shut off the main water to my condo prior to installation. When he had ask for a bowl and towels the water was coming out still left the area to go to his truck. This cause a sufficient amount of water in my kitchen. I filed a complaint with Lowes and Crume which home office is located in Kentucky They came this wasca pre existing issue. My question was why did they continue with the installation? I would never let this contracting company insatll any appliances in my home.Review fromAndrea H

WORST experience ever. Single female...saved for decade to purchase 10 new windows and 2 sliding glass doors. Total cost was $17k, purchase was made at ***** in June 2021. Install was done in March 2022. The original installer did a horrible job. He used clear caulking, so every window and door had a yellow trim exposing the foam. They damaged the house siding in two different places. All the screens were damaged, and one window had a broken balance. They further installed the two sliders with no handles or locks, thus leaving my house unsure for months. It took a while, but Lowes paid for another installer to fix the damages. This is when I met Crume Installations. In September 2022, they fixed the majority of the problems but had to order the balance and return to fix the window. This is when things went downhill. They have been scheduled to fix the window 8 times (2023: 2/2, 4/13, 6/8, 7/14, 8/16, 10/25 and 2024: 2/21, 3/12). They either show up and re-assess the window damage, show up with no part, call off sick or mostly no call/no show. They also broke a wall clock, told me to send the receipt and they would pay for the damage. I sent the receipt ($100) and never received a check. At this point, I'd rather have a broken window and discontinue the relationship. This only results in obnoxious calls and messages from both ***** and Crume, or me taking off more time from work only to continue the shenanigans. Literally, three years of headaches and still a broken window.Crume Installations

I had a horrible experience with Crume. Dishwasher ordered from ***** 2/14/24, picked up by Crume from ***** 2/21/24. Installation date was set for Friday 3/1/24 between 2:00-6:00PM. On that day, we were waiting, no one from Crume showed up, no phone calls, no communication at all. Called ****** several times, they said Crume were closed at 4:00PM and had no way to get in touch with them and would have to wait until Monday 3/4/24. I called again that day, ***** said they would reach out to Crume for a revised installation time. I received an automated call today (Monday 3/4/24) 1:49PM with a revised installation date of 3/7/24. Unacceptable. I called Lowe’s and cancelled the order, ordered from **** *****. Hopefully they don’t use Crume. I have no problem if an installer is late or needs to cancel, but to not bother calling is horrendous customer service. At least have the decency to have a person call me and apologize, schedule a new time, but the automated call was the last straw. ***** should get rid of Crume as an installation company.Crume Installations

Oct 12: Both our double wall ovens had broken. I ordered new ones from ******. I had an installation rebate from ******. ****** uses Crume Installations. Nov 3: Scheduled installation date. No show. Crume said it needed measurements first. Nov 9: Someone came out and took measurements. He said the new ovens should fit. Nov 15: Crume said the measurements were still being evaluated and that it couldn't schedule the installation until the evaluation of the measurements was completed. Nov 23: Crume scheduled installation date. No ovens to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Of course, no one came. (Our phone number is from CA.) Dec 4: Crume said that it needed to make sure the ovens could be installed with the measurements it had. Lowe's confirmed that the ovens could be installed. Dec 18: Crume scheduled installation date. Crume called up before 12 to say that the site would need to be ready for it to do the installation. She said we would need an expert to do it and that she had the unfinished trim. I said that we’ve done such things before and could do it. We would just need the old ovens hauled away. She hung the phone on me, then hung up and never called back. No one came that day. Dec 21: Crume said that it couldn't install the ovens unless the site was "site ready." I said that I couldn't get the site "site ready" until the old ovens were hauled away and that I had paid to have them hauled away. Crume refused because it would be a 2nd trip. I told her that I would talk to Lowe's. She called Lowe's and then agreed to have someone haul the old ovens away. She said her scheduler would schedule it, and Crume would call me back within 24-48 hours with the scheduled date. Dec 28: A week later, Crume called and said the ovens would be “delivered” tomorrow. We need the old ovens hauled away and the new ones “installed,” not “delivered.” I canceled the order.Crume Installations

Hi Joy! It appears there is a process and communication failure between purchasing and installation. The process is to measure the site, provide measurements to the store, store advises customer best product suitable for the site measurements, customer purchases based on professional measurements and product specifications, product arrives at the distribution center or store. From there procuct is either delivered to the store and installer picks up on date of install or it’s direct delivered to the customers home via another 3rd party not associated to Crume. Once product arrives at the store, it prompts Crume scheduling process. If the product is direct delivered to your home, the delivery team (not associated to Crume) will call to advise delivery date. Then Crume is advised it has has arrived thus prompting installation scheduling. Shall customers purchase product without prior detail (measurement), there are alternate process flows but for liability and product function purposes, the site does need to be measured and ready, along with confirmation of product delivered, before installation. Please feel free to email our team at [email protected] to further discuss your experience. We apologize for the issue and certainly want to correct process failures on our behalf and partnered with other services involved. Thank you!Review fromKaren R

1 starPurchased Bosch dishwasher in January, 2023 in Orlando at *****s who sent out two young Crume installers. Dishwasher began to leak almost immediately. Bosch repair discovered dishwasher was not installed properly by Crume, and was broken when installed. (Didn’t put protective barrier under counter, didn’t secure feet so machine wobbles, and then, dented the side so the racks hang crooked!) Crume sent out a repair person who took one look at our unit and said he was going to report we needed a new one. Haven’t seen that report. Ten months later, it still leaks, it is still hanging loose in our kitchen, and Crume cannot be bothered to respond. ****** finally agreed to give us a new dishwasher and promises not to send the Crume dishwasher installation team. (Fingers crossed this actually happens.) We get to pay for the water damaged floors/countertops/cabinets. Perfect example of what’s wrong with US companies—not enough employees capable of doing a decent job, too many corporate execs only interested in making a quick buck. Cannot WAIT to see Crume close. It’s a-coming … ??Review fromDorothea S
