    After spinal surgery at Georgetown Community hospital, while I was still drugged, hospital staff issued a rollator to me before I left and had me sign for it even though I never requested it. Months later, J & L sent me a bill for the device. I called and told them I didn't request it and that they should come and pick it up which they did. However they continue to send me bills.

    I have all the paperwork showing the patient wanted the equipment and Recieved it. It is a purchased item. The hospital also has a form the patient signed stating what DME company he wanted to use for the equipment.  

    the patient said that he never used the equipment but it was obviously used and we cannot re sell something in that condition. Therefore we cannot issue a return. The patient said for us to throw it away. All of this is well documented in his chart. 

    the only choice I would have is to let him have it free and we cannot do that. 

    please advise we have already discussed this with the patient as well. 

    if I need to send the documents I can.
