  Once a lovely place. Rapidly deteriorated. Don't expect excellent service. The American flags on the grounds are in disgraceful shape, especially in the Veteran's section. I was there to check on things for my mother's burial and staff arrived late. The office is in shambles. They have cats in the office, which I don't mind, but I know many are allergic. They started cleaning litter boxes while we were waiting on them to get opened up. Arrive early to take care of those things! On the day of my mother's burial, there was part of a tree fallen on the grounds near my mother's grave. I can't say for certain that the tree was on graves, but it was unsightly none the less. Headstones are not level, and the grounds are somewhat dangerous with holes and very uneven ground. I don't understand how a business that digs dirt on the daily can't even out the ground! The grass is in poor shape as well. The previous owners kept the place GREEN.

  In response to this review let me preface by saying I'm sorry that you felt you had a bad experience with us. Let's address each point. The cemetery has been here since 1955 which I'm sure you are well aware and it is going to have some wear and tear. We are privately owned so we do not get a subsidy as a city cemetery would have. Our service; I explained upon arrival why I was a bit late and that in no way impacted the service. We were polite and professional in our demeanor. We went forward and you at no time told me of your apprehensions.
  The flags are on a never ending replacement regimen as the materials they are made of do not last. This has been addressed and new ones are being placed.
  The office is old goiing back to 1955 and we do what we can to take care, it wasn't in that great a shape upon take over. Please keep in mind we did sustain some storm damage.
  The cats are a wonderful tool for those that are grieving, allergies can be present anywhere people go even in their homes. There are only two and they are not a problem as most people love them. My Maintenace man knows that part of his job is to clean their litters I'm sorry if it was offensive. Waiting for me to open the door took 2 minutes and I invited you in warmly I explained that I had a meeting before I headed in and sometimes those happen regardless of what is happening.
  The Maintenace had spent a week cleaning up branches and limbs from the heavy winds that we had out here and may have still been in the process when your funeral was scheduled. It is outside and can be quite laborious. As far as the grounds go anytime that a hole is dug it will never be completely filled as there is a cavity there and ALL cemeteries experience leveling and uneven ground. It is an ongoing process. We have over 8 thousand graves here it would be impossible to level each and every one. We also have a natural spring that runs under a portion of the cemetery. However you will see where backfilling and seeding will be going on for the rest of the spring and into the summer.
  Ahh being GREEN. We just got off winter ma'am no grass is really green this time of year. Even with all the rain. I look at all the grass around town and its brown and patchy as well. The former owner had it just as hard in this respect.
  At any point you could've talked to me about your concerns instead of this route but that's fine. My door is open, I hope that helps.
