    On 6/18/22, I submitted the Recall Claim Form for 2 jars of Jif peanut butter that I had to throw out per the recommendation of the J.M. Smucker Company.
    On 7/3/2022, I get an email stating “Your coupon should arrive soon”.
    On 8/12/2022 ai get another email stating “ we’re sorry for delay in getting your coupons to you”.
    On 10/22/2022, I inquire about my coupons. A reply email states “ we are actively processing the reimbursement for the product(s) you purchased. This process has taken longer than initially expected, as we are facing difficulties sourcing the mailing resources needed to send these items. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work to issue reimbursement as soon as possible.”
    On 12/19/2022, I once again inquired about the coupons I have not received. The reply email states “ We can confirm that your request was processed in September and the coupons have not been returned to us.”
    On 3/11/2023, I inquire again about the coupons I have not received. On 3/13/2023, their reply states “ Our records indicate that we've already sent compensation to the below address multiple times.”
    How can they say on 10/12/2022 that they are having difficulty sourcing the mailing resources needed to send these items, and they will issue reimbursement as soon as possible.
    Then in December tell me that the request was processed and coupons were sent in September?
    Smuckers STOLE money from me and are now giving me the runaround.
    My family has used Jif for decades. It was the only brand our family bought through generations, but I assure you, NEVER again.

    We are committed to supporting consumers who have product impacted by the voluntary recall initiated on select Jif® products. Our records indicate the mailing of replacement coupons to the address provided by the consumer in both October and December 2022. As he did not receive these, we are mailing additional coupons to him to replace his Peanut Butter, and which he should receive within the next 7 to 10 days.

    I also filed papers for the recall on May 12th.. Received a letter on July 7th saying it would be in the mail in two weeks. Nothing yet. Today is August 2nd..Why didn't they just give our money back and not force us to buy this product again?

    We are committed to supporting consumers who have product impacted by the voluntary recall we initiated on select Jif® products. Due to the volume of reimbursement requests received the process is taking longer than it typically would, however we are working diligently and collaborating with an external partner to help us coordinate distribution as quickly as possible.
    We are mailing today, high value coupons to replace the Jif® Peanut Butter that was impacted by the recall and should be received within the next 7 to 10 days.
    We apologize for the delay in reimbursement and thank you for your patience.

    Filed for a refund on recalled Jif peanut butter in May was told a couple weeks. Nothing except excuses as of July 22. Try to call them and they put you on hold forever.
