    I called Louisville Critter Ridders on April 14 with concerns that I had a large animal in my attic. Possibly a raccoon. The noise caused by this animal woke my wife and I up overnight and she was pretty freaked out. The response to come to my property was quick (same day). A not very thorough inspection was done (all from the ground outside the property) and the possibility of a raccoon was dismissed by the technician. He did not really listen to my concerns and he diagnosed that it was likely squirrels. He set a squirrel trap complete with bait and what he says was a motion activated camera. He also collected the $697 fee. 1 squirrel was caught that evening and the trap was mysteriously moved 25 ft from where it was placed. I called for someone to come get the trapped squirrel and find out what the camera saw as to what moved it. Someone did come get the squirrel approximately 36 hours later. Bait was not replaced and I to this day have not been told what moved the trap. No other animals have been trapped and I still have a large animal (possibly a raccoon) in my attic. I have called multiple times since then but was only able to speak to someone once. That person was only trying to defend the actions (or inaction) of the company instead of work the problem. Very dissatisfied with service. On April 24, I requested a refund and for someone to pick up the trap from my property. The trap was picked up nearly immediately and when asked if someone from the office was going to contact me about a refund, she said "I don't know, you'll have to call the office." Which I have done but no one answers, so I have to leave messages. To which, no one returns my calls.

    On 1/20/2025 I paid $1194 to this business for raccoon removal at 2 different addresses. Yesterday I received a call from someone at the business named ****** He asked my daughter’s name and hung up once I verified it. About 30 minutes later, someone called and said they were the owner. He went on to say that there was a police incident yesterday that involved my daughter who is an officer. As a result of their interaction, he was terminating my contract immediately.

    on or about the end of October I contacted Critter Ridder to get rid of moles in my yard. a person came out and treated the yard after I paid over $700 dollars by check. they said if the treatment didnt work that they would come back and retreat the issue. i have called them a half dozen times and they still havent come back out. I want my money back

    On August 24, 2024 I paid Critter Ridders $697 for a 6 mos. coverage to get rid of moles in our yard. They sent a person out that day that treated my yard. The moles continued to come back so I called to have them come back and retreat. After 5 calls I haven’t had any response. The last time I called the gentleman said he would let management know which of course I never heard anything. It’s clear to me that this company is a scam and needs to be shut down.

    Hired critter Ritter to remove raccoons in attic in July. During time no raccoons were caught in trap and asked to have it moved to be more effective. All times was ignored. Requested a refund and 30 minutes later they already collected their equipment. When called they said due to threatening comments I need to wait on management. No threatening comments ever made. They just refuse to want to refund. Raccoons still in attic and causing health issues to resident.

    We paid $700 for removal of Squirrels from our attic. They told us that they would set traps outside first. They caught one squirrel. The technician took it away but did not rebait the trap. Next they set up a raccoon trap even though that's not our problem. The bait was eaten but no raccoon. We haven't seen them in days. We're going on 2 weeks. We call and no one answers us. Meanwhile I can hear the squirrels. I told them where they are but they wouldn't go into the attic. I feel we've been scammed and will not see that money again and squirrels are still damaging our home.

    I have a hole in my roof where a squirrel or raccoon has gotten in and is apparently nesting. The hole continues to get bigger. I called critter Ritter about three weeks ago and paid $600 for their services. I spoke to someone about two weeks ago and since then I call every day. The person answering the phone says they will get a message to management. It’s been about three weeks, there’s an empty trap (mice or chipmunks have eaten any bait that was there initially.) , and no one will call me. I don’t understand what is happening, and why they would just ghost me. A man named Bo promised me I did not have to do a thing, they would take care of everything and remove anybody and everybody from my attic. I had to cancel my roof repair because they are still up there defecating and urinating in my attic daily. $600 is a lot of money for me I genuinely don’t know what to do.

    In February 2024, we paid Louisville Critter Ridder $597 to set a trap to catch skunks. This was a flat fee to catch as many animals as long as there was activity. On April 22, 2024 they took the trap from our yard without warning or communication. After several calls, we learned that our account was under management review. They alleged that we had “tampered with the trap, releasing a skunk” on April 21st. The details that were shared with me about the incident were that in the early morning of April 21st, a skunk was caught in the trap. Then in “broad daylight” someone let the skunk out of the trap.

    We called numerous times, sent texts and an email sharing video footage from the day of the incident showing that we did not even have a skunk in the trap that morning/day. The footage from our security camera clearly shows a closed and empty trap at 6:15 am (still dark outside); 7:00 am (light outside); and again at 1:30 pm when I walked over to open the closed and empty trap.

    Several employees said they were going to escalate it to the supervisor to review. Weeks have gone by without a single communication or note on our account to indicate it’s been reviewed or received by management. In the beginning we assumed this was a misunderstanding or account error and a quick resolve. As time passes and with continued interactions, it’s becoming clear that this was more intentional – whether they are being intentionally negligent about reviewing it or fabricated a violation to cease operations. Regardless, the company did not fulfill their contractual obligations.

    As we still have an active skunk issue, we would either like a refund to hire a company that would be interested in helping us or for them to restart operations.

    This business treats customers terribly by taking their money and not providing promised service. It is horrible that there is no communication between customers & company. This company does not let u know when they will be coming or if they catch the animal that they are hired to catch. I have tried for several months to talk to a manager or an owner, and no one ever calls me back. The trap sits for weeks at a time with no bat. They have u set up with an Automatic billing system for payment so they can continues to take your money without providing the service. Also they kill the animals that that catch which is very upsetting to me b/c they told me they relocate them & found out later that was not true.

    On 11/17/2023 I called Louisville Critter Ridder at 502-791-9205, to send a person to remove squirrels from my attic. A tech came that day and after a 5 minute walk around the house, explained he would place a trap, noting that it would catch up to 4 or 5 at a time. He placed it on the ground beside my garage along with a camera. He convinced me to pay for a 10 yr service which guaranteed they would remove the squirrels, then repair the entry point and come back as needed to remove any future intrusions for 10 yrs. The fee for this service was $597.00 for which I wrote him a check then. The check was made payable to Humane Wildlife Removal Services, and was cashed on 11/19/23. On 12/5/23 I called and asked that they send someone to evaluate why no squirrels had been caught. They sent someone who moved the trap to the base of a tree on the other side of the garage. On 1/10/24 I called again to ask for action as there had been no squirrels caught. Again a tech came out and moved the trap to the front of the house in the landscaping. On 1/12/24 I called and noted that I had seen a squirrel entering the roof overhang on the southeast corner of the garage and recommended that they place the trap on that corner of the garage overhang to better trap the squirrel(s). A tech then came out on 1/11 and removed the trap without replacing it. I called on 1/12 and complained to a female that I was upset and complained that the trap was removed with nothing had been trapped and no one had called or offered an explanation and they ignored my recommendation for trap placement. She said someone contact me. After no response, I called on 1/19 and talked to ***, and explained my recommendation and that a prior service approx. 10 yrs ago had placed a trap on the garage overhang and successfully trapped 2 squirrels. He said he would inform a manager and they would contact me. I called *** again on 1/25 and 1/26, and still have received no response. I demand a refund of the $597.
