      Precision was here 6/5/2024 to repair garage door. The door had lightly hit the roof of my car and then would not go up or down. They were here 15 minutes, repaired the door, with no parts replaced and yet charged me $524.00. As ****** was leaving I asked him why the strip at the bottom of the door had small gaps here and there, which were NOT there before. He said if he attached it more securely "it would leak". Later I thought why/where would it leak to? That strip runs the length of the door at the very bottom. If it sticks to ice, now that there are gaps, I am concerned that the strip will come away from the door when I try to open the garage door. I had Precision replace that strip in 2015, but there have not been ANY gaps until 6/5/2024 when Precision came to my home for this repair. I spoke with ***** on 8/20, with **** 8/29 and she transferred me to **** who told me it's not covered. I explained the situation and he refused to send someone to secure it better.

      I am having install finish issues with precision garage doors out of Louisville. I ordered 2 garage doors in June 2022 and was informed they would be installed around Aug due to being "special" order. We were ok with that and in Aug received a call stating, "your garage doors are in, and we can install them, what date works best for you". I took a vacation on 02 Aug 2022 for install only to be greeted by an installer named **** who said, "we don't have all parts and can install 1 door". I said "No, we want both doors installed on the same day". Then I get a call in Sept 2022 around Labor Day stating, "we have all your door components in and can install on any day you want". I take another vacation day on 13 Sept 2022, only receive another call on the morning of the 13th stating, "Not all the parts in in and have to cancel". Finally on Veterans Day, ****** and **** came to install both doors (did an awesome job) but was informed the company didn't order enough of the weather-stripping seal that goes on the outside around the edge of the garage doors came up "short" and they would be back in a few weeks for final install. that's been 1 1/2 months ago and still no install of the weather seal.

      I submitted a consumer's rating back in Aug on the company's web page. I reached out hoping to get an answer on the issues of on why the customer has to use 2 days' vacation, only to have them wasted because the company can't get communicate within its own employees on parts and install. The owner responded to my message stating "we are at the mercy of supply chain production delays as we do not manufacture the doors we sell. In regard to your vacation time, I'm very fair and would like to work with you on a discount. Again, I apologize for the delays. I wish we had more control over shipping".

      As of today, no contact from the "owner" or "supervisor" on correcting these concerns.

      We had a change in ownership in Aug of 2022. We will be reviewing all documents and contact the customer with a time we can complete this project.
