To whom it may concern if such persons exist at Humana the below documentation is self explanatory for the reasons I have CANCELLED MY Humana Plan *********

Nov 28th received letter #1 FROM Humana, PO Lexington KY Box14168, and stating application under review.

Nov 29th dated letter #2 FROM Humana, PO Lexington KY Box1416 “request for information that will affect your part D PREMIUM attached DOCUMENTS DECLARATION PRIOR DRUG COVERAGE

Nov 30th dated letter #3 FROM Humana, PO Lexington KY Box1416 as proof of enrolment & DOCUMENTS DECLARATION PRIOR DRUG COVERAGE

DEC 05th dated Letter #4 FROM Humana, PO Lexington KY Box1416 & DECLARATION OF PRIOR DRUG COVERAGE DOCUMENTS WHICH WAS RESPONED TO 12/05 by sending a copy of 1095B proof of health coverage US Department of Veterans affairs & checking box “I had creditable prescription drug coverage through my VA benefits” from 1963 until deceased. I returned these documents in a prepaid Humana envelope. A manager on 01/12/2023 confirmed receipt of the 1095B proof of health coverage US Department of Veterans affairs.

DEC 26th dated letter from social security. Information about your health plan Premium PART B beginning JAN 2023 is $164.90. Changes start 01/2023, AMOUNT OF REDUCTION $100.00 /AMOUNT OF PREMIUM AFTER REDUCTION $64.90.

BIG SURPRISE Jan 08, dated letter #5 FROM Humana, PO Lexington KY Box14168, stating YOUR PLAN INCLUDES A LATE ENROLLMENT PENALTY $48.80 per month (CON JOB)

01/12/2023 In reference to Jan 08, letter I spoke with 3 representatives from time 5:31 pm through 8:00pm in which one of 3 representatives was exceptionally unprofessional and hung up on me. None of the 3 representatives gave me a reasonable explanation of why I was being charged $48.80 for a prescription plan I did “NOT” need nor want. Further more any potential additional charges for prescription drugs were never ever mentioned by the original Humana"snake oil salesman" During his sales pitch I reiterated numerous times that I had VA coverage for prescription drugs and any additional drug coverage was needless! After being completely aggravated & provoked by inept and incompetent personnel I was finally able to speak with a manager person #4 who confirmed receipt of the 1095B proof of health coverage US Department of Veterans affairs. Some time thereafter manager’s further documentation investigation she agreed that I should not be charged the additional $48.80 although she could not give a reason why I was being charged. With that said 2 options to negate the problem were offered #1. Manager could elevate the problem through a process which would take a couple of weeks although there is NO guarantee that the additional $48.80 would be revoked. The 2nd option is to cancel Humana Plan *****-***. Despite this the Manager connected me with a NEW Sales agent *** ******** (1-800-537-0739) who offered to change the plan for me to a plan without drug coverage which offered less benefits and a lower give back. *** furthermore informed me that the 5th letter I received dated Jan 08, with the heading Humana, PO Box14168, Lexington KY was from social security and that MY issue was with social security not Humana moreover *** stated I should contact and communicate the fouled-up matter with social security which I judge an unreasonable suggestion that I should suffer the frustration of trying to resolve a problem with Social Security that Humana created through no fault of mine. Humana created the problem, if Humana had an iota of integrity they should have guaranteed they would fix the mistake rather then well PERHAPS we can.

To be crystal clear, I did not and would not agree and dispute the additional $48.80 which would be billed in Jan and would have increased my PREMIUM to $113.70. Further more your ENROLLMENT PENALTY of $48.80 per month, which I NEVER EVER agreed to is an outright “CON JOB” given that I can obtain the same prescription drugs offered under Humana plan CHEAPER with a “FREE” Prescription savings card from GoodRx or Single Care and or the VA

In summation because no one I spoke with at Humana could simply NOT understand that “I DID NOT WANT A “NEW PLAN” what I wanted was the plan as it was described, explained and promised to me by Humana’s Snake Oil Salesman with a $100.00 give back with no other additional charges. Since the many inept, incompetent personnel I spoke with could not provide what I was originally promised I have cancelled my membership. Incidentally I was again lied to by Humana and endured unnecessary stress in my attempt to cancel MY Humana Plan *****-***. I was informed that certain paperwork was an absolute necessity to cancel membership which is an apparent lie. All that was required was a simple phone call to United Health who will without any bother enroll me in their Patroit Plan and take care of what ever is necessary.

Moreover if I am charged $48.80 for the month of January for a plan which I NEVER EVER agreed I will open up the gates of hell upon HUMANA.

For starters as I have promised I am filing a copy of this dispute with the better business bureau in Kentucky

Needed emergency ride through Humana for emergency surgery. Ride never showed up called to check on Ride Ride said they didn't have wheelchair van I explained to them a dozen times I do not need a wheelchair they mistakenly set me up for wheelchair and made me wait long after my scheduled time to the point where my family member had to drive me an hour to the hospital and take off from work that day and lose money important to feeding their family. Humana are liars. I did not say I needed a wheelchair this is their excuse so they don't have to pay me back the $25 in gas money. They are a bunch of bumbling ****** they lie they use incompetent Transportation companies. I want my $25 in gas money return to me. I certainly did not say I needed a wheelchair I have cancer on my face other than that I am a spry healthy Farm man that runs a dairy with 100 cows. I needed a ride that day because no one could give me a ride. I will be changing insurance companies Humana is unethical inappropriate and sociopathical

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The resolution letter consisted of nothing they denied my claim they refuse to send me $25 in gas money for a trip my neighbor had to make it her pajamas because of their mishap and unethical procedures and obtaining a ride for me which never showed up for my cancer surgery. I want my $25 in gas money returned to me. I was heckled and abused by a company on the phone which never showed up to pick me up. I will change insurance companies I will not be treated this way as an American citizen who paid his dues I want my $25 in gas money returned to me. Humana is unethical and abusive. No member should not have a ride to surgery or two cancer treatment and no member should be abused by any transportation company that Humana decides to provide. I am a poor person and I am on Medicare and this was wrong absolutely wrong to make me pay my own ride

I'm on the do-not call registry, yet I'm receiving several robocalls from spoofed phone numbers per week that are then connected to Humana's medicare division. I've requested on multiple occasions to be removed from their call list but the calls persist.

I opened a similar complaint against Humana (********* ** ********** and tried calling both the Human rep ******* **** ** * ************ **** ******** - a non-working number) and BBB (went straight to voicemail). Humana is using a Robocall service ("I'm ****** on a recorded line... would you like info about Medicare insurance..."). If you agree, you're connected with Human Marketpoint Insurance. Today, the robocall connected to ****** ******** **********1 who confirmed she was with Humana. Previously Humana denied they were doing this (see attachment) and also said they had taken my number off their list. Both are clearly lies. Lies that are made more frustrating by their cover-up and giving a non-working phone number to discuss this. Humana is already bottom-feeding scammers by virtue of being in the business of monetizing health. Adding an additional scam to it is infuriating.

I believe Humana dental HMO plan is double charging me. The plan cost $15.00 a month, I made payment in the form of a money order on their bill for $16.00 on 08/01/2022. I received a bill from Humana today 08/29/2022 stating that I owe $32.00 for the month(s) of September-October 2022. I believe they're not crediting my payment and committing fraud under 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1692e as well as 31 U.S.C. Sec. 3123.

In receipt of Humana's notice, I reserve all my rights under UCC 1-308, obviously your CPA's aren't competent in the laws that govern contracts, if they were this matter would have been resolved with a simple credit to my account. You haven't addressed not one of my recent request or answers to the laws that I sent you, you are in breach of contract if my account isn't credited with the money orders on your billing statement, you haven't quoted any law stating that it's illegal to create my own money order since the credit is coming from me anyways, it's no different from using a credit card, the credit is coming from the individual not the credit card company, if my account isn't credited or if my dental plan is terminated because you won't accept my payments, I will file a lawsuit for breach of contract and fraud.
