      So my mother was transferred out of this hospital a couple weeks ago and went to ***** ****** During the transfer, they did not send my mother’s belongings with her. I called up the next day to have them gather them for me, they said they couldn’t find them. I gave them an entire week to locate them and they couldn’t. I’ve been up there multiple times now and they say that someone threw her belongings away. She had her cell phone and charger with her, along with a pillow that had a photo of her and my late father who passed away in Feb, inside of it. The photo was from Christmas 1994 and they lost that. That was more valuable than anything else she had up there, in my eyes. That was the first year my parents enjoyed Christmas with their baby boy.. me. Now that still memory is gone. They are telling me they will refund me for my mom’s phone but that’s just not enough for me. Negligence on their part, which is sad because these people are supposed to save lives but they can’t even properly follow SOP’s to send belongings with the patient or safely store them.
