      My vehicle was damaged in a motor vehicle accident on July 10, 2022, and it was taken to Bachman Body Shop for repairs. My vehicle was there for two months before the decision was made to declare it a total loss. Because of the length of time it was there, Bachman decided to charge storage charges in the amount of $2,925.00. This amount was then deducted from the amount the insurance company was going to pay me for the value of my vehicle. I believe the delay in deciding my vehicle was a total loss was largely the fault of Bachman since the body shop manager was telling me and the insurance company (The General) that repairs were underway, but they were not. I would like for Bachman to reimburse The General in the amount of $2,925 so that my loan may be paid off by The General,

      Ms. ******’s 2012 Dodge Charger was towed to Bachman
      Collision Center on 7-15-22 on the request of The General Insurance Company.
      Bachman Collision Center ordered the parts for her vehicle on 7-18-22 and the
      vehicle was assigned to a tech to be taken apart and inspected and start
      repairs that same day.
      The insurance company provided and estimate that they had
      prepared for $2546.13 however when the car was taken apart substantial
      additional and hidden damage was located. With the additional damage found the
      shop contacted the insurance company and advised that the supplement needed to
      be reviewed and authorized for the additional repairs. The insurance company
      advised us that with the additional damage was over $6800.00 and that the
      vehicle was a total loss. Shops do not have the legal authority to do
       total loss in Kentucky, it must be done by a licensed insurance adjuster.

      Once the vehicle was deemed a total loss we advised the
      insurance company that we would release the vehicle to them after the owner
      released it. On 9-13-22 the owner authorized it to be released per phone. All
      the parts were then returned and we advised the insurance company that it was
      ready to be picked up. On 9-22-22 I spoke with the claim rep from General and
      we discussed the bill for the storage, tow bill paid out as well as the labor
      to disassemble the vehicle for inspection.

      The original charge for storage was for 77 days at $85.00
      per day which is the normal legal amount we can charge, however I received a
      call from the claim rep at General (**** * ) and he asked if we would work with
      them on the storage price which we did.

      We credited the bill from 77 days at $85 per day to just 60
      days at $65 per day.
      The amount was agreed upon by the adjuster and he advised
      that he would have a wrecker pick up the vehicle and pay the balance due. The
      car was picked up on 9-29-22 and the bill was paid at that time by the
      insurance companies tow driver.

      I traded in my 2021 ********* in and gave 6600 dollars toward for 2021 *********
      on Oct. 18 2022 three days later on Oct 21 2022 I try to return vehicle prior to that Oct 20 I texted the salesperson ****** letting him know this isn't working this purchase due to back issues. ****** was like it should help your back. Make a long story short. So on Sat. Oct. 22nd i went in The sales manager **** ***** came to assist he said they don't do returns or refunds but yet my car that I traded was still there it hadn't made it to the lot yet so he told me he could trade the truck back in for my original car so he said come back Mon. Oct 24 cause the people who writes the checks was off on weekends but still I was like how the truck isn't in my name and the car isnt in bachman why can't we just cancel cause I just want my car and money and it aint been over 3 days he kept running doing numbers he said then he said if I bring back the truck we will trade it back in for your vehicle but we will only be able to give you 3500 back I was trying not to argue but I was like what about my 6600 cause you got your truck back he said that's what the difference after he traded the truck back in.
      My ******** value was 4000 cheaper than the truck plus none of the paperwork got turned in yet cause the car was still in my name when I called the county's clerk office
      Oct 24 and the truck never was in my name and it was back on the lot for sale for the same price Oct 25 2022. This car lot I will never go to they took 3100 dollars and act like they was doing me a favor. This lot is not to be fooled with. They actually stole from me they end up selling my car back to me for 3100. I'm pissed how can you trade a truck in for my car without a title or registration but you end up returning the truck but kept 3100. I want my full refund of 6600 dollars

      I purchased my vehicle on 7/9/2022 from Bachman Chevrolet and I have yet to have my vehicle registered and titled. I initially contacted Sam Roberson (Salesman) who would tell me he would look into it and then I would not hear from him. I would then have to keep reaching out and eventually at the beginning of August when I advised my temporary plate was going to expire he stated that the title dept was behind a few weeks. I told him I would follow-up if I did not receive anything from the county vehicle registration center. I contact him again and received the same standard response that he would look into it and have not heard back since. On multiple occasions I have contacted Sales Manager **** ***** and **** ? who have advised that the title dept is month’s behind however my paperwork was completed on 8/26/2022. As of 09/01/2022 my paperwork still has not been submitted to the county vehicle registration center as I called them to verify. For being the first time purchasing a vehicle the entire process has been unpleasant and stressful. I will not purchase another vehicle or recommend this dealership. All I want at this moment is someone to process my paperwork now (today) so I can go get plates.

      Business stated the consumer purchased a vehicle from us and was waiting on the title and plates. I looked into that and I can't see what the delay was. Kentucky is running very behind a lot of their paperwork, but that registration was issued on September 7th. So everything is done and she should just have to go to the Hardin County DMV to pick  up her plate.

      The delay is not the Kentucky DMV. I spoke and confirmed with them that they received my paperwork on September 6 2022. The delay was Bachman Chevrolet and I would like to have that on record. I purchased my vehicle July 9 2022 and Bachman Chevrolet did not submit my paperwork until September 6 2022. Thank you.

      Dealership advertised sales of new C8 ******** at MSRP including the Z06, accepted deposits based on that advertisement.
      Now that the C8 ******** Z06 is becoming available to the public the dealership has notified that they are going to charge and additional $50,000 over MSRP for the vehicle.

      It is true that we have charged MSRP on C8s while other dealers have charged several thousand over MSRP. The market dictates what most dealers sell inventory for and we believe the Z06 market will be more than $50K over. We have been very upfront with our customers regarding our Z06 pricing and the fact that we would be charging market price. We will refund the deposit if desired.
