      I purchased a window mounted air conditioner from *****, GE branded. The air conditioner functioned for some time then no longer functioned correctly. I contacted GE seeking warranty repair support. After 1.5 weeks a service technician arrived to diagnose the issue. The service technician did no diagnostic testing, said it was in the wrong mode. It continued to not function correctly and I informed GE of this visit. They sent another technician out, which happened to be the same one, after an additional 1.5 weeks. The technician did no diagnostic testing and concluded it probably has a bad compressor or refrigerant leak.

      I don't see how anyone could consider this service; at least perform some diagnostic testing on it to determine for certain if there is a leak and where or if there is some other issue.

The reason for rejection is that I am unavailable by phone during the proposed hours. I have requested to be contacted via email and provided my email address. I have yet to receive email correspondence as of today, July 15th, 2022.
