      I purchased and installed a new GE refrigerator from ***** on 5/3/2025. GE 25.3 Cu. Ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator, ***********
      On 6/9, I noticed that the refrigerator wasn't keeping up with the desired set temperatures that it was set to.
      I contacted GE via their website and scheduled repair service for the refrigerator, the appointment was to be on 6/10 by ****** ***** Appliance.
      On 6/10, I receive a text from ****** ***** ********* stating the following, "Hi, this is ****** ***** ********* Repair contacting you regarding your service request through your GE warranty. Looks like your warranty company set you up with an incorrect appointment, they are not supposed to schedule our appointments for that. If you would like to schedule now please respond to this text and we will be happy to set you with our first available appointment". I responded "yes". They then set an appointment for 6/19. I then called GE with concern for the scheduled appt. GE then made an appt with ***** **** on 6/12. Tech comes and says that it has a leak.
      6/16 appt with ***** **** for repair by GE on 6/23. Text 6/17 from ***** ****, "we don't do this repair".
      6/23 GE sets appt with ****** ***** for repair on 6/27. ****** ***** comes ask what is problem, states they do not do this.
      7/1 GE sets appt with Keepe Up Inc for 7/3. Keepe calls to ask what is problem, states he doesn't have to tools with him to fix, needs to reschedule.
      Call GE, tell them I want new fridge and ask for supervisor. Still waiting for this call.

      I'm sorry to hear of the trouble this consumer has had with their refrigerator. 

      We tried reaching out but after stating to their google subscriber what we were calling about, it said that they can't take our call right now and hung up.  We were not able to leave a standard voicemail. 

      I do see that consumer relations has processed a replacement order for their refrigerator though.  It generally takes 4-7 business days for delivery.  The delivery company should deliver and install the new unit at the same time they pick up and scrap their original unit.

      I have made a complaint post on ******* and this is my next one for ****** * I deeply regret spending over $10,000 on GE CAFE appliances. What was promised as a premium experience has turned into a nightmare of non-stop issues and financial loss.

      Fridge: There was a recall I was never notified about. Instead of replacing the unit, GE sent multiple techs over the course of a year—none of whom could fix it. I ended up losing over $1,000 worth of spoiled food. Only after repeated failures did they finally replace it—far too late.

      Gas Range: Replaced twice, and I’m now on the third unit—still facing the same malfunction. I have video evidence. I even paid for an extended warranty, but the problems continue without resolution.

      Dishwasher: Was replaced once due to repair failure. The replacement unit is now leaking, causing water damage to my hardwood floors. I didn’t notice until the flooring started swelling. I also have video proof of this.

      This entire experience has been overwhelming, stressful, and costly. I chose GE CAFE for their design and reputation, but what I got was failure after failure, poor service, and serious property damage. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend GE CAFE to anyone. Their products look good—but underneath the surface, they are deeply flawed.
      The current issue is a leaking dishwasher, which was replaced less than a year ago and is still under warranty for repairs. However, I need compensation for the damaged flooring. My past experience with GE CAFE has been nothing but ongoing problems with all my appliances from the very beginning. I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed by the continuous appliance issues and the disruptive technician visits, which only seem to make things worse. It feels like this cycle will never end.

      I have videos taped to view the issue better! Videos show the water dripping from the dishwasher during the cycle!

      On 11/17/2024 I purchased a GE dishwasher model *********** at home depot. After a few months the dishwasher started having issues on February of 2025. I called GE appliances at ************ to let them know they sent out a technician on 2/28/25 he ordered parts. The dishwasher was turning on and off by itself, would start the water then stops. The parts are received they come back a week later install the parts still doesn't fix it. On 3/24/25 GE did a replacement of the same dishwasher a few weeks later this replacement one had the same issue as the original dishwasher I expressed that this is something else it could be a recall issue the customer relations told me theres nothing they can do besides send out a technician. A technician came out on 4/22/25, said he will order parts. On 5/13/25 another tech came out to install the parts still same thing happens the dishwasher wont shut off and starts turning on and off again. On 6/9/25 a new technician comes out and said he will reset it. The same thing happens again on 6/25 another technician came out said again will order parts. I at this point called customer relations to complain to please refund me so i can get a new dishwasher as I feel the software of this brand and model should be recalled the customer relation representative said they dont do refunds and only can try to fix the dishwasher. I asked to be transfer to a supervisor and they tell me there isn't one. She tells me the technician has to deam the dishwasher not fixxable for them to replace it the technician tells me to call customer relations to get a replacement or refund. This has been an ongoing issues for months. I would now like the company to add this appliance on the recall list as i feel it could be a danger to other consumers as the dishwasher starts the wash drains water and goes haywire. I would like a full refund of $548 so I can please buy a different brand as I no longer trust GE appliances.

      I purchased a GE window air conditioner, model *********** on June 14, 2024, from **** ****** I have had the AC for only one year and 17 days now. The unit failed to function properly just 17 days after the one-year manufacturer’s warranty expired. The AC would not power on properly; it continuously beeped and flashed lights, indicating a likely control board failure.

      I have taken all reasonable care with the unit, following all operating instructions and maintenance guidelines. It is extremely disappointing that a product from a reputable brand like GE would fail so soon, well before the typical lifespan of an air conditioner.

      I contacted GE support and was told that because the warranty had expired, they would not provide repair or replacement assistance. The only thing they can do is provide a $100 voucher on my next GE purchase. I spent $280 on this ac. I should not have to buy another one so soon. And why would I buy another GE ac when this one failed just in a year. So what good would that $100 voucher do me? This response feels unfair and does not reflect well on the quality of GE products or their customer service.

      I respectfully request that GE reconsider my case and provide either a free repair or replacement unit as a goodwill gesture, given the proximity to the warranty expiration and the clear defect in the product.

      I purchased a GE Unitized Spacemaker 2.3CuFt Washer and 4.4CuFt ELECTRIC Dryer
      Item # ********* in June 2023. This was delivered and installed by ****** for a fee. The machine was used in 2024 about 4 times and we discovered washer was not working right and dryer handle broke twice despite repair and now dryer bearings have issue . The whole unit is under warranty and since Oct of 2024, we have had about 8 visits by 2 technicians from different companies who have diagnosed the issue. Still since the cost to repair is high, GE doesnot want to order parts and take repai action based on their notes. They want to send a 3rd tech to see if he can come up with easier solution. ****** warranty doesnot stand up to GE. My wife is a high risk pregnant woman and for a year she has been going to laundromat to wash my clothes with our toddler. We still have no resolution, despite diagnostics having been done , GE is not fixing the issue since it is
      expensive repair. Neither does ****** take the machine back to provide a refund so that I can purchase a new one.

      I am rejecting this response because, the unit has been diagonised 8 times by 2 technicians in 11 months and the repairs are still pending. GE wants us to wait for one more technician to diagnose the issue and then decide based on parts price if to repair or replace. It had been 11 months without a working washer dryer and GE representative still wants us to wait to diagnose and then wait to order parts and move the machine from its laundry closet into a bigger space , but without disconnecting the water lines..I cannot make water lines from walls to my washer dryer 20 feet for this purpose. I have been spending on an average $60 for laundry at a laundromat since August of 2024, about $660 to date. I have been hauling all these clothes driving to a laundromat with a toddler for this. Spending gas money to go to a laundromat. I am going through a high risk pregnancy have had surgery as part of it and still hauling heavy loads because GE left me no choice but this. The dryer has a smoke smell everytime we use it and that issue has not even been diagnosed by the techs in their last 8  visits. I ask for a full refund so that I can buy a working washer dryer. 11 months of no washer dryer and the response has been send a technician and keep doing this. Not fair, I am not letting another technician prolong this. It is a lemon unit and GE needs to stand by their product. If the issue has not been solved in 11 months and the unit has not been made workable, why would I have to go through further waiting and having more techs visit my house?

      I am rejecting this response because both the GE technicians have the notes to say the dryer needs repair. The second technician also has said the washer needs repair. So the statement made here that it is house mistake is incorrect. They want the unit accessible, basically pulled out from the laundry closet and kept out in the kitchen. Which we said ok to for the repair. They came back saying next that they can perform it only if it moved to the kitchen with wires and water lines connected. The installation was performed by ****** for extra money at purchase. The machine has water lines only of the length provided by the ****** service. 

      Costco and GE are trying to defect the error to customer so that they can get away with it.

      GE Cafe Fridge and Freezer has been improperly working for over a month
      have now had had a tech out 3 times to diagnose the issue. The first tech did not diagnose the issue correctly and ordered the wrong parts. The second tech ordered the correct parts however the warehouse sent the wrong ones. I've had to take 3 days off from work to wait for the tech, I have not had a working fridge or freezer since early June. I want a complaint.

      Purchased an oven from ****** which was delivered to my home April 4, 2025. Two months later, it does not work. I contacted GE for a service repair and they scheduled on on Monday, June 23, 2025. I had someone wait at my home. I'm single and work an hour away. I had one shot to get this done. Nobody showed up so I called the service tech, who said the appointment was for Tuesday the 24th and they never work Mondays.

      I called GE back and got a response that it was my responsibility to make sure the date was correct for the service appointment. I informed them that I no longer have an opportunity to have someone sit and wait at my home, and I cannot take off of work. I was told there was nothing that could be done.

      Frustrated, I said I no longer wished to own a GE product and would like a return authorization. After two days of making phone calls back and forth from GE to ****** I still have no help and a broken oven. ***** tells me it's GE's responsibility and GE tells me they won't provide an RA#.

      I've never been so frustrated just trying to get a $20 billion company to return ONE OVEN. Not only was the customer service lacking, I was treated as though I was trying to steal from the company.

      I already had a faulty GE appliance and now I have two. Perhaps being a criminal prosecutor has me more zealous than the next guy, but I plan to make sure I find every avenue to share this experience and exactly what kind of products GE is manufacturing.

      I've made it clear to each person I speak to that I know they do not care about the average citizen, and this company has more money than GOD. So hard to believe this is where we are, yet not surprising either.

      This is my last effort to give GE a chance to make it right. At this point, it's all about principles. Do the right thing, GE.

      Purchased a GE profile washer from **** ***** delivered on May 28, 2025. Had service on June 3, June 19, June 26, there is a definite issue with this appliance. GE has not resolve this, I currently have a terrible grinding noise. service Man was here on June 26 wrote in his report that there is a noise, but it is workable. What’sDoes that mean .. I was told by GE . I am not under warranty for a noise, it is not a noise. It’s a damage washing machine.

      I bought a GE window air conditioner from **** ***. July will be a year ago, I used it two weeks last year and then when I put it in the window this year it was not blowing cold air. I called **** ***, I did buy the extended warranty with them. They wanted me to bring it to the store for them to look at, it’s heavy so I asked about other options. They looked it up and said it’s still under manufacture warranty. They supplied me with the information for GE. I called and spoke to a lady, she looked up the model and serial number and realized I did not register it, she told me she registered it for me it was not a problem. Then she set up a repair man to come to my house. I received several email verifications confirming the date and time of my repair. He came out and was unable to repair it, the product is not repairable. He stated to me he would notify GE (they sent him) and it would be escalated and provided me a cause number. I waited almost two days and heard nothing. I called them today. They state, I did not register the item so they don’t know if it’s under warranty, and will do nothing till I prove to them it is. I explained I already did that, it was registered by one of your people that is how I got the service guy who came and fixed it. I even received a receipt from GE saying I owe nothing because it’s covered under the warranty. They continued to argue with me and said that was a different department. Telling me they will not do anything for me because I have not proven it’s under warranty. I explained again they sent someone and I have a receipt from GE saying the man they sent was paid by the warranty. They refuse to replace or refund my money. They are rude and nasty and said they don’t care if I already proved to someone else at GE, I need to prove again and until I do they will not replace or do anything for me. How is this customer service? They sent the repair man and sent me a receipt saying it’s paid for under my warranty.

      I am rejecting this response because: I’ve provided the receipt. I still think it’s crazy since I provided it once before and they made me an appointment and all that they call the customer a liar. When I originally called in and spoke about my problem I did not have my receipt with me, I was driving to work and the repairman that GE sent was the one who had escalated the problem. It has been hot and was trying to get this resolved. Here we are weeks in and me as the customer have been suffering in the heat and now I have to wait for a refund.  It’s crazy that customers are treated this way. But the first person had already verified and all. I’m just making sure my refund is the whole total with the extended warranty since the warranty is no good to me, I should be compensated for my time and frustration

      Purchased 9.17.2024 but first installed 6.18.2025. GE microwave. Model #. ********* ***
      Upon arriving home after installation of above the stove microwave which was vented to exterior of the house my contractor indicated that there was a problem with trying to use the keypad / touch screen. He was correct. A ridiculous amount of pressure must be applied to each number or instruction you attempt to select. I had another person try using the key/touch pad. It is so hard to push that I can only do it with my thumbs and unless extremely careful by confirming after each selection that your choice was accepted you can easily get selected the wrong temp or selection than what you wanted resulting in undercooking, overcooking or scorching your food. Upon 1st days use it scorched my bacon to where it was close to starting a fire. I called GE service. A repair person is coming to the house tomorrow. We shall see what happens. I hate this because I took a lot of time and trouble to select the features - particularly the exterior venting feature I wanted. Now I have paid for an exterior vent connection with wall insulation and caulking. And I cannot use the microwave. Without installation or tax I paid $299 for a black plastic microwave with no air fry, toaster or other function so this definitely was not the cheapest model I could have purchased.
