      I started buying from LOA when they first started about 8 yrs ago, Never had a single problem until recently. I won $300 in products & when I picked them up they failed to give me 2 items, but they did give me a bookcase in a box that was not mine. I called & told the owner there was a problem & agreed to call him the next week. He didn't seem concerned & even told me to keep the bookcase, I had him on speakerphone & I had a witness who heard the conversation. It was in the back of my truck & too heavy for me to remove that day. It rained that night, & the box was soaked & ruined the bookcase. I looked up the company name on the box, searched it online & didn't feel so bad because it sold for less than $15. It was made of something that looked like a type of pressed paper. This week I went to pick up again & a young woman who identified herself as the owner's daughter came out & told me I had 2 things they had failed to give me, but they wanted the bookcase first. I told her what happened & that I had been sick. I did tell her it was their fault that the bookcase was given to me anyway. She was very upset & kept asking me "why are you acting this way".
      She was the one who came out & told me they had my things. It had been over a week & I didn't even ask for these things, because I thought they had already sold them. She was very rude & disrespectful, went inside & called her dad & gave me his business card & to call him.
      I did talk to the owner today & he was just as bad. He told me he had cameras & his dau. didn't do anything wrong. He kept saying "you seem to be angry". Also told me I should have brought the bookcase back, even wet!
      I finally told him to keep the things & that I would never bid on anything of his ever again. He didn't seem to care!
      After thinking about the reactions from both of them, I decided they had attended the same communications class & failed miserably! I decided to just laugh & advise others to not buy from him, ever!

      BEWARE! I have bought various items from them over the last few years and probably spent thousands of dollars with them. I usually buy something just about every week. Often the pieces are "ok" but several have been broken, missing parts or just did not function properly. The owner Steve has always been willing to work with me and refund my money or some of the items I have just thrown away. On 11/7/2023, I purchased two wicker chase lounges for a total of $483.36, premium prices. One of the chairs the ad noted "small blemish on side". Two of his workers, each carrying a chair loaded them into my truck. I live about 8 minutes from there. Once home we inspected the chairs and found that the wicker was literally falling apart in several areas and looks like maybe the wicker is even dry rotting on both chairs, far more damage than a "small blemish". Given my past dealings with Steve and thinking he was an honest person, I called immediately. I offered to return the chairs or to even negotiate a reasonable price and make do with them. He refused both offers and went as far as belittling me saying, I just had buyer's remorse, refused to even try to have a conversation with me and hung up on me. These people will never get another cent from me, and I caution everyone to be aware. I am now going to have to fight him through other avenues for what should have been an honest and trustworthy transaction. Oh, and btw, they charge your credit card before you ever get to see or pick-up your items. I have sent him pictures and videos of the condition of the chairs, and he has called me a scammer, accused me of switching the chairs, you name it.

      There are scammers in life and this guy is a good example of one in this case. Please contact me for pictures of what he tried to return and what he bought. We also have a video of him planning the scam I can send you. I suggest any businesses that deal with this guy to be aware of his tricks and complaints. [email protected]
